Nashville

Tyler and I headed to Nashville for the AAPL convention a week ago.  It was great timing for a parents only trip just a week after our family trip!  Besides the convention, our Nashville agenda consisted of eating great food, drinking and listening to music.  We successfully did all three for three days and loved it!  We even squeezed in a round of golf and two movies!

We were lucky enough to meet up with Great Aunt Grace and some of her family our first afternoon in Nashville.  Always good seeing her!

Best Uber EVER!!!!!!  Strobe lights, karoke, microphone = amazing!
Loved hitting up some of the local bars.  Christmas 365 days a year at Santa's Pub.
We stayed at the Opryland hotel which was beautiful but extremely huge.  I still couldn't find our room on the last day of our trip.  Sad when you have to carry around a map at all times.
The AAPL convention had a super fun welcome reception.  It was extremely hot so we cooled off with spiked snow cones.  YUMMM!
We were so happy to have some of our favorite neighbors join us in Nashville.  Love having landman friends :)

Happy Daddy's Day

Happy Daddy's Day to the best dad around.  Jackson, Harper and Mason are beyond blessed to have you as their daddy.  They love you to the moon and back.  Thanks for being the best!

Princess Cinderella

Harper was bursting with excitement all weekend in anticipation of her Cinderella princess dance camp Monday morning.  She got to live her princess fairytale dancing like Cinderella.  She played the part perfectly!  My little princess was ADORABLE and so were her princess friends!  Looks like I need to sign Harper up for dance class.  She was in her element and she can't wait for her other princess dance camps throughout the summer!

  and that's a wrap!

Weekend at HOME

After being gone the past two weekends we were so excited to enjoy a weekend at home!

We kicked off the weekend with a play date at Myriad Gardens and had a blast.  One of our favorite places.

They started making some crafts . . .
but we couldn't hold them out of the splash pad for too long!

They were so excited to head to the 2nd water area.  There was no keeping up for the moms!

 Seriously the cutest!

Saturday morning we headed to Dodgers Kids day.  The kids are now ready to cheer on their Dodgers.

J was pitching with the pros!

We have some serious hot dog eaters!

There was no way we were passing up face painting.

After a fun morning out with the kids, Tyler and I had a date night at a co-workers wedding!  Great way to end a fun day.
Sunday we headed to church then off to Oak Tree for some fun in the sun!  J&H have perfected jumping off the diving board.  I didn't think I would ever get them to leave!
After a busy weekend, all the kids are snoozing, Tyler is golfing and I'm relaxing.  Another perfect weekend in the books.  It felt so nice to be home!

Family Vacay - Seaside

We just returned from a fabulous family vacation in Seaside Florida!  This was our first true family vacation with the kids and it was perfect.  I loved spending every minute with my favorites for 10 straight days!  Both sides of our family joined the fun which made the trip even more special!  We are all sad to be back to reality and I'm super sad to be heading back to work tomorrow morning.  Such a fun and relaxing week.  We played at the beach, swam in the pool, ate great food and enjoyed our company.  I want to go back now!

We split our long road trip into a few days.  The first day we drove to nana and grandpa's house in Plano then the next morning we headed to New Orleans.  Tyler was pumped when he saw New Orleans was on the way.  There was no way he was passing up the opportunity for a little casino time!
These three were so excited to be out of the car!
And they were even more excited when we told them they could jump on the bed at hotels only :)
after quickly freshening up we jumped on the trolley
the kids thought their trolley ride was so cool!
first stop Bourbon Street . . .

Our kids might have been the only kids on Bourbon Street that weren't performing!  But they drew quite the crowd drinking water from these!

Then the next morning we headed to Seaside.  Once we arrived the kids couldn't wait to put their feet in the sand and ocean!  The anticipation was killing them!
such a great memory seeing them experience the beach for the first time
they were jumping with excitement and smiling from ear to ear!

these three were too excited to pose for a family picture . . .

Putting their toes in the water turned into full on swimming!  There was no way I would deny their excitement!  They squealed, laughed, smiled and ran in and out of the water for an hour.

LOVE this view!

Every evening we headed to the beach after dinner to see the sun set.  Earlier in the day it rained so the sunset this evening was AMAZING!!!

These pictures are completely unedited!  No sunset will ever compare with God's work this particular evening.  Truly magical!  I have looked at this family picture nonstop since it was taken.  Constant reminder of how blessed I am.

We all tested out paddle boarding which was so fun.

Stan and Jeanne celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary while we were there.  Such great examples for Tyler and I.
The last evening we were so lucky to capture these family pictures!

Such a perfect week full of so many memories!
