Thanksgiving Week

 Thanksgiving week if my favorite week of the year beacuse all my people are home and our schedules are basically free!  Even better this year with Mason getting his buck early in the week and Jackson getting his youth riffle weekend!  Meant my boys were home even more.

We kicked off Thanksgiving week volunteering at the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank with Mason's baseball team.  No better way to start the week than by giving back and spending time with some of our favorite families.

We made a farm float for the annual Bella Terra Thanksgiving Day parade!  

And spent Thanksgiving Day with the Nelsons, Giordanos and Millers.  

Mason's Buck

Since Jackson got his buck during youth rifle weekend it was Mason's turn come opening day on Saturday, 11/23.  Mason was so ready to get out there!  He hunted for 2 days and on Monday afternoon he got THE buck.  The buck came out of the woods, Mase shot and missed and miraculously the buck came back out and Mase got a second shot at him.  This time Mason's shot was spot on!  They knew he was big but they didn't realize he was a 12pt until they found him!  Mason smiled ear to ear for weeks!  He was so proud!    I've always been against a full head mount but I was convinced this might be a once in a lifetime buck and it needed a full mount!  So, bring on all the deer jerky and a deer head hanging in my house.  #boymomlife

So thankful for papa always coming out and helping with the dirty work!

August 11, 2025 Buster came home and Mason proudly hung him in his room.  I ate my words saying "we would never have a full head hanging in our house"!

Cotillion Tailgate

 Another fun cotillion for this 7th grade crew, this time was a tailgate theme!   This group sure knows how to have a good time!

Jelly Roll - Beautifully Unbroken Tour

 What a fun first concert to experience with Mason!  Mason LOVES his music.  He prefers rap but also likes country so Jelly Roll seemed like a very fitting (and more appropriate) first concert.  Jelly Roll and his pre-show definitely didn't disappoint.  This will definitely be a night we will always remember.

Even more fun having your cousins come too!
