Panama City Beach World Series Champs!!!

Mason and the Braves ended their 11U season as Champions of the Panama City Beach World Series.  We had the BEST week with our Braves family.  Baseball and the beach makes for an amazing vacation.   We may have been there for baseball but it truly felt like a vacay as well.  So much fun had and memories made!

We split the drive and stayed a night in New Orleans . . . got there just in time to walk the streets while the sun was still out

Made it to PCB and the kids couldn't wait to hit the beach and find their friends!

The OKC Thunder were playing in the NBA Finals while we were in PCB so we wore our Thunder gear with pride and had lots of team watch parties!

Our first night we watched Game 2 of the Finals at Beef O'Bradys, until the waitress informed us they thought there was an electrical fire and we all had to evacuate.  Thankfully this was at half time and we had all gotten our food!  We waited it out for a few mins outside, while finishing our meals, and then decided to head back to the condos for the 2nd half!  Not the best start to our trip but Thunder ended up winning and it was a night we will always remember.

Beach days are the best when you have your best friends there as well!  These kids road the waves for HOURS every day!

Team dinner at Sharky's Beachfront was a blast!  Great food, sand volleyball and kareoke!

The boys and dads did a 1/2 day deep sea fishing trip on a boat called GameChanger (pretty ironic and fitting for these baseball boys).  The Miller boys survived the trip without getting a seasick, a few weren't so fortunate. 

Snapper fishing success!  We had the fish cleaned and ended up bringing the fish to a local restaurant to cook for dinner.  So good and so fresh!

While the boys were fishing some of the girls went to Seaside for the day

Championship Sunday started with lunch at Dicks Last Resort, stressfree and carefree before the big game!

Championship Sunday happened to also be Father's Day.  The Braves are blessed with the best group of dads.  Win it for the dads!

The boys did it, 11U Panama City Beach World Series CHAMPIONS!!!  They beat GA Sauce Black 11U 1-0 IN  6 innings!  It was a true team win with amazing defense and great pitching.  Everyone did their part and won as a team!  The best way to end an incredible week with our Braves family!

Sadly me and Jackson had to fly out to Jackson's soccer regionals on Friday so we missed the bracket games.  I watched it all on gamechanger and cheered the Braves on from Dallas.  

We've had some incredible trips with this team/friends/framily!!!
