8th Grade School Dance

Jackson and Harper had the best time at their 8th grade school dance!  This dance was put on by the school and held right in the cafeteria, so they weren’t quite sure what to expect . . . but by the end of the night they were saying it was an absolute blast! These kids sure know how to have a great time!

As always, the girls looked beautiful and the boys looked so handsome! It’s crazy to think moments like this are a sign that the end of the school year is quickly approaching. Hard to believe this was the last middle school dance for this group!

Mason's 12th Bday

Happy 12th birthday Mason Mark Miller!  There is never a dull moment in your world!   You truly live every day to the absolute fullest with so much fun, adventure, laughs and love.  Life with you is always  exciting and that's what makes you so special!  11 was great but I have no doubt 12 will be even better!

Your life is an adventure!  You have SO many hobbies . . . dirt bikes, mountain bikes, fishing, hunting, all the sports, golf, building things, doing experiments, cooking, art . . . you name it you will do it and be good at it!  There is rarely a moment you are sitting still and majority of the time you are running a muck around the neighborhood!  Your zest for life is contagious!  You are beyond witty, an amazing friend, loving, so creative, only help after being asked at least 5 times, you love the social aspect of school but could live without the school work.  I say it all the time but I can't wait to see where life takes you!

Started the birthday celebrations with carpool donuts
and ended the day with a family hibachi dinner at Sumo . . .

April is busy with all the sports but Mason was able to squeeze in an afternoon at Top Golf with his buds

and that afternoon turned into an evening of swimming too!

Central Track

Jackson decided to give track a try this spring—and he absolutely loved it. I’ll admit, I was kind of dreading the long track meets, but honestly, I ended up loving them just as much. The speed and talent out there was incredible, which made it so fun to cheer everyone on.

Jackson ran the 400m, was part of the 4x400 relay, and competed in the long jump. He kicked things off with his best 400m time of 1:01.72, finishing 6th out of 24. He made it into the top heat of 8 at every meet—but wow, those 1–7 runners were FAST!

So proud of you, J, for trying something new, working hard, and loving every minute of it. You impress us always!

Zach Bryan

Harper has been dreaming of seeing Zach Bryan in concert for years, so for her 14th birthday, she finally got tickets to his Friday night show over Easter weekend! Unfortunately, spring weather had other plans , and the threat of severe storms forced the concert to be canceled.

The second we got the official word, I jumped online and grabbed (very overpriced) tickets for his Saturday night show—no way we were letting the weather ruin Harper’s birthday present!

But of course, Saturday came with its own challenge…Harper had a volleyball tournament in Norman.  Her team made it all the way to the championship! They won it all at 7:05 PM, snapped quick team pics, and then we HAULED it to Tulsa.

We made it to our seats at 9:10…Zach Bryan took the stage at 9:15.

WHAT. A. DAY.

Completely chaotic, slightly stressful, and 100% worth every second.
