9 Months

Our house has been a little crazy the past couple of weeks which is why this post is over a week tardy.  We have had non-stop sick babies, been out of town and now we are packing for our big move in two weeks.  Needless to say the twins just weren't feeling the picture taking on their 9 month bday.

Harper:

Weight - 21 lbs 9 oz (95%) 

Height - 26 1/4 in (10.35%)

Head - 44.25 cm (50.75%)

 

Jackson

Weight - 21 lbs 2 oz (50.75%)

Height - 26 in (3.5%)

Head - 47.5 cm (97%)

Chicago

This past weekend we packed up the family and headed to Chicago to celebrate the wedding of my cousin Chris to his beautiful bride Amanda.  It was the perfect opportunity to bring the twins to Chicago to meet the Nelson family.  We had a wonderful time and we were all worn out come Sunday night!  It's a lot of work traveling with two infants!  Luckily we had plenty of loving hands to help with the babies while we were in Chi-town.  We now have two plane trips under our belts and we're ready for more sans the ear infection.

My pictures will be a little out of order but I wanted to start with the main event!

Earlier in the week Tyler and I went to the Ryder Cup while my parents watched Jackson and Harper.  It was so nice enjoying the cooler weather for a little day date.  The timing of our trip worked out perfectly.  Tyler was one happy hubby.

While we were playing at the Ryder Cup the twins met their great grandma Ruth.  I heard they were the hit of the nursing home!

I'm so happy the twins were able to spend time with all the Nelson's! 

Exploring St. Charles

The weather while we were in Chicago was absolutely perfect!  We spent a day exploring St. Charles.  We strolled down the river, played at the park and had a fabulous lunch on an outdoor patio that was decked out for fall (right up my alley).  All and all it was another perfect day of vacation.

Pumpkin Patch

Fall is by far my favorite time of year!  I love everything about it from the cooler weather and fall smells to the fun outdoor activities.  Unfortunately this fall just won't be the same since we are moving.  I won't have all my fall decorations out, we probably won't buy any pumpkins and I probably won't have the opportunity to burn all my fall candles.  I have been worried about squeezing in all the fun fall activities with the twinnies for their first official fall season.  That is one thing I won't give up.  Luckily while we were in Chicago we stumbled across the perfect pumpkin patch.  I can now mark this off my list! 

They were way more interested in the dirt than picture taking!

I'm sure the twins will grow to love fall as much as I do!
