Halloween 2014

Life keeps getting more and more fun and exhausting!  This Halloween season (it's no longer just a night) has been a blast but Tyler and I are officially worn out.  I was so happy to toss the kiddos Halloween costumes in the trash and call this year a success!!!

The week leading up to Halloween kicked off with a trip to Story Book Forest!

Then the Chio house had their first annual alumni trick or treating!  We couldn't miss an excuse to head to Norman for a fun night with my sisters!  I'm definitely looking forward to this tradition for years to come!

And we weren't stopping there . . . Thursday our work had a trick or treating event for the kids.  We always love bringing the kids to work and showing them off to all our co-workers!  I think they had more fun looking out the windows and coloring on our office marker boards than getting candy!

We also squeezed in Wacky Week at school, a little wine tasting with friends, family pictures and seeing the Grinch Broadway Show with my sister!

And then there was Halloween night . . . luckily the kids were still excited to wear their costumes and of course they were ready for more candy!  Halloween is always such a fun night in our neighborhood.  We have the best neighbors and the best times together!  Halloween might be a night for the kids but these parents enjoyed a little pre and after party :)

A neighborhood with hills calls for a trailer ride.  We wouldn't want these kids to work too hard for their candy :)

It was definitely a fun week filled with family, friends and sugar highs!  Tonight I'm resting up and gearing up for the crazy holiday season.

Happy 6 Months

Happy 6 months to the sweetest baby boy!  I say it every month but Mason is the BEST baby.  6 month milestones include sitting up, standing/leaning on a toy, holding your own bottle and eating real food (bananas, mashed potatoes, spaghetti etc.)  I just can't get enough of my little man.  I could hold you, squeeze you, love on you and smile at you ALL day long!  You have made my heart so incredibly full!

Of course at your 6 month check up the Dr. confirmed you are perfect but he also confirmed that you once again have a double ear infection.  You are such a trooper!  The Dr. also confirmed that you are one big baby!   You are a solid 2 inches longer than the twins were at 6 months.

Weight:  20 lbs 10 oz (91%)
Height:  28 1/4 inches (94%)
Head:  47 cm (99%)

Everyone always says you are a spitting image of Jackson but when comparing the picture above to J&H's 6 month pics I would say Mason is a clone of Harper!

Happy 1/2 birthday sweet Mason!

Weekend of Fun

If only all weekends were three days we could have so much more fun!  We crammed lots of fun into this three day weekend.  The highlight of the weekend was supposed to be seeing a Sooner victory, instead we had a great day in Norman without the outcome we were anticipating.  Sorry Mason that your first game was a loss, doesn't happen often in Norman.

We kicked off the chilly morning with the homecoming parade!

Can't get enough of Jackson's smile!
 What's up next????
 Cheerleader in the making!

How did this happen, we are all looking at the camera!  Boomer Sooner!  Such a fun and exhausting day despite the loss!
Our busy weekend started with a trip to Chester's Pumpkin Patch.  Second pumpkin patch of the year with a few more still on our list.

The llama stole the cup of food right out of Harper's hands
Harper wasn't too sure about the loud tractor ride!

Another fun weekend in the books!
