Family Vacay

Nana celebrated her 60th birthday on June 30th which was the perfect excuse to take a little vacation to Playa Mujeres near Cancun.  I searched and searched for the perfect family all inclusive and I was not disappointed.  The kids had the time of their lives.  Such a perfect family vacation and a much needed break from reality with my favorite littles!  They swam and swam and swam.  Our hotel, the Finest, had the perfect beach, tons of pools and the most fun water park for the kids. 

These first pictures are a little out of order but I had to start with the family beach pics!  Love these.

The kids were the best travelers!  Luckily Cancun is such an easy trip from Dallas!

Every hotel room calls for some jumping on the bed!

Beach time!  These kids LOVED the beach.  The salt water didn't bother J&H at all.  They were diving under water collecting shells and snorkeling to see the fish.  They all LOVED sand castle making as well.  That is a Nelson favorite at the beach.

 

 

 

The kids also LOVED the hotel water park.  So fun and it was never very crowded. 

 They made the sweetest friends at the kids club!  So fun watching them build these friendships so quickly.

The hotel had fun activities scheduled throughout the day for kids and adults.  Horseback riding on the beach was definitely the kids favorite!

They also loved the pineapple decorating. 

 Sexy Ross led most of the activities and the kids were so smitten with him!  They couldn't get enough of their Mexican daddy (that is what he called himself :))

In the evening we would drop the kids off at the kids club and they would take the kids to dinner and then the kids had a special theatre with shows geared towards them.  They LOVED it and wanted to go back each night to play with their new friends.  Then we would pick them up for music, dancing and the grown up shows.

 

 

 

We loved our little private pool for swimming while Mase was napping or late night swims when the other pools were closed.  Seriously these kids could not get enough of the water!

Such a fun and perfect 4 days in paradise!  I'm ready to do it again.

 

Spring Tball

Another tball season in the books and this year the Bears were 11-0!  These Bears boys had so much fun kicking butt this season.  They also improved so much from last season.  My particular Bear blew me away.  He hit the ball harder, ran faster and fielded better!  All that practice paid off buddy!  I'm excited to cheer you on for years to come! 

 

 

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the most amazing, loving and hands on dad!  Thank you for being the best example to J, H and M.  They absolutely adore you!  The kids have been so lucky to have you home the past 4 months.  Time they will always cherish!  We love you and appreciate every thing you do for us!  Thanks for the being the best and being my partner through this crazy busy life!

Most Beautiful Ballerina

I am beyond proud of my little ballerina.  She performed her little heart out at her first ballet recital as she danced for water for those less fortunate.  She was beautiful, graceful and calm.  Harper dances at Dance Studio 150 and their recital was a fundraiser for Water4 which works to end the world water crisis.  These dancers made them proud and made a difference across the world.  Way to go sweet ballerinas!

I honestly didn't know what to expect for Harper's first dance recital, and my first for that matter.  I didn't grow up dancing so this was a first for both of us.  Honestly we both had so much fun.  It was refreshing to have some girl time with my baby girl!  You made us so proud Harper Lynne!  Love your biggest fans!
