Fall Break

The kids had a great fall break, not only a much needed break from school but also a break from all activities!  With a weekend off we made our 2nd annual trip to Tulsa for fall break fun at Flint Ranch.  The kids were SO excited to fish, ride 4 wheelers, make smores, shoot skeet and sleep in the "barn".  Such a fun 24 hrs outside with some of our favorite friends!

J,H and M had the best of luck fishing and all caught a fish within 30 minutes!  M definitely won for biggest fish.

The evening ended with an OU win, Thunder loss, BIG thunderstorm, ping pong tourney and lots of good convo!

Such a fun fall break!

First Field Trip

It's hard for me to believe J&H are old enough to have school field trips!  Of course I had to join on their first one to the pumpkin patch with 147 kindergarteners!  It was fun seeing J&H in their element with all their school friends.  I'm pretty sure they know all 147 kids in their grade!  Such a fun morning with all these kiddos!

OKC Energy

We took the kids to our first OKC Energy soccer game the other weekend.  Jackson loves playing soccer so we thought he would really enjoy watching the pros play.  He watched in awe the entire game.  Not sure why we waited till the last game of the season to go because it was a ton of fun!

OCAPL Fun Run

The OCAPL fun run is becoming one of our favorite Sundays of the year!  A little running and a lot of fun!  This year was super fun with it being at the Wheeler district!  The kids participated in the family 1 mile run and all 3 finished with a smile.

Ready . . . set  . . . go . . .

Harper got her feet caught up with another person and took a pretty big fall!  She was a trooper.  Although she didn't run the full mile she waited for her friend Maddie and the two crossed the finish line holding hands.

After taking this pic of M, he grabbed my hand and we crossed the finish line together!  My heart exploded!

All that running called for some celebratory GIANT snow cones!

and a ferris wheel ride!

\
M was officially exhausted after Sunday Funday!

Family OU game

Every year we pick one game a season to take all the kids to an OU football game.  As they get older I'm hoping they will want to go to even more.  J has the football thing down and wants to be at every game!  Unfortunately OU lost this weekend but it didn't stop us from having such a FUN day.  It was an 11:00 am kickoff so the morning was a little rushed but we still made it down in time to visit the Chio house and do a little tailgating!

The Chio house is absolutely beautiful with all the renovations!  It is a girls dream and I think Harper is convinced that she wants to live there!  I may just move back in with her!

It was SO bright so most of our pics turned out like this ..  .

Then off to tailgating with our neighbors

Then off to cheer on our Sooners!
This pic is definitely a framer!  My heart explodes looking at these faces and knowing how much fun we have together!
We made a little pit stop at the business school.  Looks like these three might have a future in the business school . . .

The weather could not have been more perfect, 70 degrees, no wind and not a cloud in the sky.  But with no wind and no clouds it got pretty hot and M was a sweaty beast.  The game was close but we left at halftime.  Last season we left during the first quarter with M screaming due to the noise, so I would consider this year a huge success!  We left with smiling faces, lots of chatter and a few sweaty heads.  We meandered our way through campus on no time clock!  The kids were dying to see the library now that they visit the library in Kindergarten.  Huge hit!  They could have walked through the stacks for hours!

We ended up at the Beta House (aka "the Castle") and watched the rest of the game.  Not the ending we had anticipated but it didn't rain on our parade!  Lots of memories made on campus!  Love my Saturdays with my crew, especially when its a day in Norman!
