Happy 8 months to our sweet Mason. A little late to post but better late than never. You are growing up way too fast! You can now go from laying down to sitting up all by yourself. You are over eating baby food and are eating basically all big people food. And you are pulling up on your own and so close to crawling! This next month will probably be a big milestone month for you! And you are of course still as cute and sweet as always! We love you!!!

All Aboard
All aboard the Polar Express! Santa, singing elves, hot chocolate, sugar cookies, Christmas carols, golden tickets and silver bells made our train ride to the North Pole truly magical. It was so exciting to see Harper and Jackson light up with all the excitement. A new family tradition I hope to continue for years to come. This was definitely the highlight of all our Christmas activities. I'm so glad we saved this for last. It was the perfect lead into Christmas week and the perfect day/evening with my family of five!
These two were so excited to get on the road to the Polar Express! And even more excited to wear their PJs all day!
Resting up for their big afternoon
so proud of their golden tickets!
These three make life exciting!
Even Mason took a silver bell from Santa's hand

Thunder Up
Jackson is loving the Thunder and Rumble lately so when 4 tickets fell into our hands for Sunday's game we couldn't pass it up. We thought it was be a fun night out with the big kids! Storms were brewing on our way to the game which was a sign that we would see a Thunder W. Tornadoes in December only happen in Oklahoma!
pre game hotdogs . . .
J&H better not get used to these seats!
J&H loved the game and especially LOVED rumble! They were wired when they got home. I could tell by all their chatter they had a fun evening and loved a special night out as big kids only!

Christmas fun thus far
Christmas fun is in full force at the Miller house!
Ho Ho Ho . . .
We took our first trip to the North Pole and saw reindeer, made toys, drank milk, ate warm cookies, saw Santa and best of all had fun with friends! Once again, we had a boys pic with Santa. Harper still wasn't feeling sitting on Santa's lap.
Saturday morning I ran (maybe walked a little as well) in the Santa Run 5k, one of my favorite runs! So much spirit, Christmas cheer and fun costumes!
Action shot, love MG in the background!
After the run, we swung by Devon Saturdays with Santa (along with thousands of other people). We saw reindeer again, rode the Christmas train, took a ride on the carousal and ran into lots of fun friends!
We rounded out our very busy Saturday with our fourth and final Christmas party, the Devon Christmas party. Tyler and I took advantage of Nana being in town and made an entire night of it! We booked a room at the Colcord which I have always wanted to stay at. We definitely enjoyed the evening, into the wee hours, knowing that we had a full night's sleep ahead of us!
Sunday was by far the highlight of the weekend. A group of our neighbors has made it a tradition to adopt a family from the Brain Tumor Foundation every Christmas. Having the opportunity to help a deserving and needing family is a true blessing that we look forward to every year. Seeing the family's excitement, relief and happiness is the BEST Christmas present! Thank you James for being so strong and letting us spread a little Christmas cheer in your home! We will be praying for you!
