Our Christmas week kicked off with the twins Christmas program at school. Their class performed jingle bells. I would consider it a success since J&H both stayed on stage and didn't shed a tear. Harper jingled her bells with some beat while Jackson stood with his fingers in his mouth :)
Harper jingled and danced, no stage fright for this little lady!
They celebrated their big performance with their class Christmas party!
It's always fun to see the twins in their daily setting at school!
The Christmas festivities and sweet eating continued with cookie decorating with some of the twins neighbor friends. Little miss LOVED decorating cookies for Santa! She might have eaten more icing than what ended up on the cookies.
The adults even escaped for an evening out at the Ranch and the Christmas Carol. One of my favorite traditions that started when I was pregnant with the twins. Glad Steph, Matt and my parents could join.
Christmas Eve fun . . . Harper was in awe of the lights, music and snow at church
After a yummy Italian Christmas Eve feast, J&H made a plate of cookies for Santa and snuggled into bed
shortly after the twins went to bed Santa visited and spoiled them ROTTEN!
Our Christmas morning started around 7:30 am when J&H both wandered into the living room
Nana and grandpa gave J&H a Thomas roller coaster and it was a hit! It was hard prying Jackson away from his Thomas to open other gifts.
There was not a toy that wasn't played with and loved by the twins. Jackson's absolute favorite was definitely his roller coaster but close seconds were trains, airplanes and his trampoline. Harper's favorite was anything pertaining to her babies and jewelry. The trampoline was also top of her list!
After Christmas we headed to Guymon for Christmas part two! The twins have perfected present opening. They have so many new toys to keep them busy for months. It's hard to believe they will be getting more presents for their birthday in a few short days.
Sister tried on her big girl panties with her new heels! Diva!
The biggest hit of the night were two cars from Uncle Zac
I have loved every moment of this Christmas season. Seeing the excitement of Christmas through the eyes of toddlers is truly magical! I'm sad it is over but we have a lot to look forward to in 2014! Now it is time to pack up all the Christmas decorations and start throwing together the twins 2nd birthday party!
