Mini Vacation

Tyler and I just got back from a much needed mini vacation at the beach!  4 perfect days in paradise with the most amazing neighbors.  No schedule, relaxation, adult beverages, fun in the sun, great company, perfect hotel, non stop laughs and no worries . . . what more could we ask for!?!?  Seriously one of the best trips we have taken in a LONG time.  I'm pretty sure the 8 of us are already planning our next trip.

 Off we go . . . Cancun bound!

We all shared this swim out pool from our hotel rooms.  It was the perfect place to end each afternoon.  Thanks Secrets for the room upgrades!

The hotel had a resident monkey that was extremely friendly!

 

Our last day we had a once in a lifetime experience.  One of the beach lifeguards brought us to multiple sea turtle nests that were hatching.  This lifeguard is basically the protector of the eggs and hatching turtles.  He helps them get to sea and protects them from predators.  We were able to hold the baby turtles and release them into the sea.

 Each nest had approximately 120 babies!

Our last day was cloudy and rainy, a sign that it was time for us all to get home to our babies!  

 

Thanks to technology these Sooner fans were able to watch the OU game in flight!  

 We all came back sun kissed and rejuvenated!
