What a fun and busy December we had filling our days/evenings with all things Christmas! December sure does fly by when you are having so much fun!
We kicked off our Christmas traditions with our annual black Friday Salvation Army bell ringing. We decked out in our red, white and blue to support the USA mens soccer team in their world cup run! It always blows my mind how generous everyone is. Definitely helps when you have 3 super cute kids ringing those bells!
Ice skating is always at the top of the kids December "must do" list! They love it so much we have to go multiple times. Our first ice skating trip of the season was with Mason's baseball team and their families.
Another holiday adult favorite is the Annual Bella Terra Progressive party! This year we moved the party to 5M and it was beautiful and so much fun!!! The kids got to check it all out after we finished decorating!
Our favorite place to ice skate is downtown at Myriad Gardens. This year was probably the best yet! We had the entire rink to ourselves for majority of our visit and it was amazing! Such a festive and magical evening downtown!
The kids worked up an appetite ice skating so we hit up New State burgers. Most festive holiday restaurant in town! If this doesn't get you in the holiday spirit I'm not sure what would!
Christmas in Bella Terra is another one of our favorite holiday traditions! We loved celebrating the season with our favorite neighbor families!
The kids loved looking at lights in style in a limo bus! Not sure they did much looking at lights though, they were too busy working the pole!
We surprised the kids with a one night staycation in downtown OKC. We started with gospel brunch at Jones Assembly!
Then we headed to the newly renovated First National Center to see their beautiful Christmas decorations!
Then we went sledding at the Bricktown ballpark . . .
We ended the evening staying at the Omni, which has always been on the kids wish list!
For the first time since Tyler has worked at Continental they had a company Christmas party! Fun Monday evening!
Another holiday favorite is volunteering at Dinner for Love. We've always delivered Christmas meals but this year we changed it up and helped package the meals. We all LOVED this and can't wait to help again next year! Love that our kids have servant hearts!
Snuggles by the fire with a puppy are always a holiday (or all winter long) must!
Our annual living room slumber party/Christmas movie marathon is another family favorite! Love all these holiday traditions we have!
Chloe snuggled right in during her first living room slumber party!Christmas Eve is extra special getting to spend the evening with both sides of the family! We sure are lucky to have such great families that enjoy spending time together!
Pre dinner holidays games are always a hit . . .
And sometimes they get a little messy . . .
but they sure looked cute with their Santa beards . . .
Love this cousin crew so much!!!
Mason requested his annual picture drinking milk out of the jug after pouring Santa's cup! Love that he has created his own traditions!
These three will never be too old to sit on daddy's lap and read Twas the Night before Christmas!
What a fun December we had with family and friends! We are all sad to see it come to an end but we are excited to see what 2023 has in store for our family!
