Christmas Fun

December is always busy—but busy in the most magical way. Our normal schedule doesn’t slow down, yet somehow we still make time for all the holiday traditions we love. It’s a month filled with laughter, celebration, and sweet moments with family and friends. So many memories made and so much joy packed into one beautiful season!

We kicked off our holiday festivities with ice skating at OAK, and it was the perfect way to start the season! Trying out a new ice rink with friends made it feel extra special.  It felt like we were in the middle of a big city for the night — music playing, lights glowing, and pure holiday magic all around. Best part was having my trio and all their friends together!

It’s rare that we have a free evening, and even more rare to find one in December, so we definitely took advantage of it! We took the kids to a nice dinner at La Brasa, and the rule for the night was no sweats allowed!  So many laughs, great conversation, and uninterrupted time with my people — that’s the kind of night that fills my heart.

We love spending time during the holidays volunteering and Santa's Cause is one of our favorites.  The kids shopped for a family, wrapped the gifts and sent them off with Santa to be delivered.

Me and Tyler had a fun kid free evening at the Continental Christmas party at Jones Assembly.  Always a good time and so beautifully decorated!

The kids all had Christmas get togethers with their friends.  Mason kicked it off with an afternoon at Chicken and Pickle with his 6th grade crew

Mason's Braves baseball team had their annual gift exchange

Jackson and Harper hosted their first co-ed Christmas party!  We had the best night hosting this group of 8th graders.

The kids must have been on the nice list because said made an appearance!

Thank you Grandpa for dusting off the Santa suit and spreading some Christmas cheer!

I wasn’t sure if we were going to get a picture with Santa this year, so I was beyond thankful when we spotted him at The National!

We ended our evening with my absolute favorite holiday tradition, The Christmas Carol at Lyric Theatre

Aunt Donna was in town from California to spend the holidays with our family.  She treated the girls to a Christmas tea at Inspirations Tea Room

Christmas Eve service is always extra special having all our family together

We had record warm temperatures the week of Christmas so we enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner on the patio.  My favorite because we can all easily fit around 1 table on the patio.

We spent the day after Christmas enjoying time on our land!  Can't beat this view after a busy December!
