After a whirlwind and AMAZING finish to our Cooperstown week, our adventure was NOT over! Never in a million years did I imagine the Braves would be playing all the way until the very end when I booked our last night in Canada to see Niagara Falls—but I’m sure glad they did!
As soon as the celebrations wrapped up, we packed up the bunkhouse and hightailed it out of Oneonta heading to Canada! We had quite the interesting drive through the New York countryside, running on adrenaline, exhaustion, and the excitement of everything that had just happened.
I snapped this picture joking that maybe we’d actually see a horse and buggy… and sure enough, we did!
We rolled into Canada around 11 p.m., and Tyler and I were the only ones still awake! You know these two were completely exhausted when the brotherly cuddles started happening!
The Canadian side of Niagara Falls was like Vegas when we rolled in that late—casinos, bright lights, and tons of people still out on the streets! Definitely not what we were expecting!
We chose the Canadian side for two reasons: we’d heard the views of Niagara Falls were even more impressive from that side, and the kids had never been to Canada! Another country officially checked off their list!
