What a fun and busy Christmas season we had in the Miller house! December is always such a fun month and it flies by way too quickly! There is never enough time to squeeze it all in but we do our best.
The kids love to ice skate and this year they were able to hit the ice 3 times! Their favorite was definitely ice-skating with their friends. Best way to ice-skate is when its 70+ degrees. We were debating if we needed snow cones rather than hot chocolate while ice-skating! The heat deterred the crowds so our group basically had the ice to themselves!
After hours of ice-skating we checked out Illuminance at Mitch Park. Great way to end a great evening!
We ran into the Grinch and Cindy Lou-Who at Chisolm Creek after a Friday night volleyball game.
The Oklahoma City Zoo for the first time opened up for OKC Zoo Safari Lights and it was amazing!!! It will definitely be on our annual list for years to come!
The kids elf, Tripp, left them Christmas pajamas one morning so I surprised them after school and took them to see the Polar Express at the theatre in their new pjs!
Tyler's work Christmas party was held at Myriad Gardens in downtown OKC this year! They had Santa, rented out the ice rink, crafts, photo booth, food, etc. Such a fun evening downtown!
The kids happy place is on the ice this winter!
They loved getting to help their cousins skate at the party!
We love volunteering as a family during the Christmas season to help make Christmas special for others in need. This was our first Christmas volunteering at Santa's Cause and it was such a great experience! We were given a family and the kids shopped for toys based on their ages and interests and then wrapped all the presents. The kids spent so much time finding the perfect gifts for this sweet family!
These three little elves were busy wrapping!
Dressed up as Santa and ready to spread the Christmas cheer delivering presents to these families!
Love this curly bearded Santa!
Decorating gingerbread houses is another favorite in the Miller house! I think for every piece of candy that goes on the house, one goes in their mouths. The kids helped me organize toiletries for the Homeless Alliance. At our neighborhood Christmas event kids made toiletry bags for the Homeless Alliance and wrote the sweetest Christmas cards to go with.
Such a fun evening at Christmas in Bella Terra! Smores, hot chocolate and limo Christmas light tours!
The kids continued to spread Christmas cheer with caroling in our neighborhood! Another Christmas favorite! Our list of favorites sure is long.
Probably our most favorite and most simple Christmas tradition is our living room slumber party watching The Star. Falling asleep with the Christmas tree lights on, a fire going and all my people in one room is perfection!
Christmas Eve Eve pedicures is a must as well! This started as something Harper and I did but the boys have now joined the pampering!
Wow, what a fun month we had as a family! These are the moments I will cherish forever!
