It surely was the most wonderful time of year this Christmas!!! The kids had a full week off from school before Christmas and we used every day to squeeze in extra holiday fun! The stomach bug tried to bring us down but we bounced back just in time for Christmas Eve! We had extra visitors join all our Christmas fun! My Aunt Mary and Uncle Scott flew in from California because their sons were at their girlfriends for the holidays. We absolutely loved having them and sharing all our 2021 Christmas memories with them! They sure won over all three Miller kids and we feel so lucky to have spent the holidays with them!
It was all sunshine and warm temps (high 70's) on Christmas Eve so we kicked off the special day with pickle ball at Chicken and Pickle! Such a blast!
Chicken and Pickle turned their upstairs into a ski lodge themed holiday pop up bar, so festive and perfect for Christmas Eve!The kids rarely dress "fancy" but Christmas Eve is one of those occasions that brings out the jeans, buttons and dresses. Love this fancy crew of mine!
We celebrated Christmas Eve at our house and kicked off the night with a "special" drink!
A little Christmas Eve game competition always keeps the evening fun! This was a family favorite, each round you had to draw a certain Christmas thing on a paper plate on top of your head! We drew way better than I expected!
The weather was too perfect not to enjoy Christmas Eve dinner on the patio!
This kids love celebrating Jesus's birthday eve with a birthday cake and candles!
Cousins in matching pjs are the cutest!
Let the Christmas morning shenanigans begin! Our kids typically sleep until a decent hour but not this year! I thought as they got older their excitement would start to dwindle but that wasn't the case! They started strolling into our room at the 5:00 but we made them "rest" or fall back asleep until 7:00.
Santa is the best and brought Mason a gas powered dirt bike against us parents' better judgement!
After a quiet morning at home, we headed to Nana and Grandpa's for a late brunch and Nelson Christmas.
We wrapped up Christmas at Mimi and Papa's for dinner. The next day was another beautiful day so we wanted to show off the city we love so much to Uncle Scott and Aunt Mary. We enjoyed a morning exploring Myriad Gardens and Scissortail park, then hit up a handful of local breweries. Best post Christmas day!
Love these faces as the Jenga game crashed down!
What a great holiday season we had celebrating with our crew! These are the days that I will cherish forever but they sure are flying by too quickly!
