We just got home from a fabulous family vacation in Cancun at the Grand Moon Palace. We soaked up the sun, loved on our cousins, swam non-stop, ate entirely too much and made the best memories. It is crazy how we all live within two miles of each other and it took us going to Mexico to spend some QT together. Thanks Nana and Grandpa for a great vacation!
After a year long vacation countdown these cousins were so ready to hit the beach. Even an early morning flight couldn't stop these smiles!
Top picture was this year, bottom pic was our family Cancun trip two years ago in 2017. What a difference two years makes!
Living the dream in first class! Snacks, movies, pillows and extra room!
Landed and heading to the hotel!
Greeted with a flower and a cold drink!
After a morning of flying the kids wanted to hit up the arcade to burn some energy! The hotel had two free arcades, bumper cars, ropes course, indoor playground and lots of other fun games. We started off our first full day in Cancun with a morning trip to the beach! The sand was beautiful but the water had a ton of seaweed. Didn't stop the Miller kids from getting in!
After a morning at the beach we hit up one of the many pools, first stop swim up bar! These three perfected ordering their favorite drinks. Harper's drink of choice was a virgin strawberry daiquiri, Mason's was diet coke (it was vacation so I let it slide) and Jackson changed it up every time.
Then it was time to test out the hotel's water park! Jackson was a little too short to do the water slides but he snuck on and loved it!
After a full day in the sun it was arcade time before dinner. Every night Tyler had to play basketball until he beat that day's record. He usually succeeded.
Love this family of mine!
Next morning started off with the arcade before breakfast. I mean these kids couldn't get enough!
We decked out in our red, white and blue to cheer on the women's USA soccer team win the World Cup championship game.
We watched while the kids bowled! Fun for all!
A victory called for a USA pic by the beach! Love these America loving kiddos!
Jackson mastered the flo-rider!
and so did Tyler!
And Harper conquered her fears on the ropes course! After the initial nerves it was hard getting her to stop!
and Mason conquered his fears as well!
Beautiful girl looking way too old!
Cousin love! All the Miller kids wanted to carry Ellis everywhere! They couldn't keep their hands off.
We visited a sister hotel's beach since our beach had so much seaweed. This water was crystal clear and the waves were insane. So beautiful! I rode the waves with J for 30 mins and lost my earrings, my sunglasses and was SO exhausted.
Every night ended with cotton candy. As if they didn't get enough sugar throughout the day!
Our last day we went swimming with the dolphins. Such a cool experience that has been on my bucket list since I was little.
Harper wasn't too sure about the dolphins at first but she warmed up after this kiss
Not a shabby last afternoon for these guys!
afternoon popsicles and pool time!
Family beach pics on our last night in paradise!
We had the best week with our family! Thanks Nana and Grandpa for an unforgettable week in paradise! Just what we all needed!
