The princess turns 6!

Today, September 30th, is Maddie's 6th birthday!  I can't believe Maddie has been a part of our lives for so long.  She has a sassy personality like no other dog and we absolutely LOVE her for it.  Of course we could not let her birthday pass without spoiling her rotten.

What's a birthday without a cake???  Maddie's favorite peanut butter with cream cheese and honey frosting.

She dug right in!

Wait where did my cake go???

Sharing with sister, not that she had a choice . . .

Bailey devoured her half and wanted a piece of the birthday girls.  Not gonna happen!

Can't get enough of that icing!
Maddie was licking her chops in every picture

Thanks mom for my b-day cake and rescuing me from scary Maysville, Oklahoma!

The Bump has arrived!

I have had a lot of requests to post baby bump pictures.  Until this week the baby bump has not been very visible.  Well that has changed!  I am now growing on a daily basis.

Week 22 - I can't believe we are already 5 1/2 months into the pregnancy, time flies!!!  Its amazing to think that in 3.5 months max. we will have met our precious babies.

Twins Size:  A single baby at 22 weeks is around 11 inches and weighs approximately 1.0 pound, the size of a spaghetti squash (not sure what that is).  The twins are probably running a little smaller.

Weight Gain:  I'll get back to you on that next week after my appt. unless its something excessive :)

Maternity Clothes:  I'm still wearing pre-pregnancy dresses and some tops however all pants are now maternity!

Symptoms:  Not too many, I'm feeling very good at this point.

Cravings:  Very few, the main one being strawberry pop tarts.  I go to bed excited to eat my pop tarts in the morning.

Movement:  The twins are definitely kicking me and I'm sure each other.  They were extremely active at the OU game Saturday night.  They already know how to cheer on their Sooners!

Room Update:  Beds, dresser and rocker have been ordered!  Still waiting on swatches for our potential baby bedding.  I have my fingers crossed that we will recieve it tomorrow.  Hopefully I love it because I don't have a back up.

I'm counting down the days until we get to see the twins again, 9 days!  Starting next week we have an appointment every two weeks.  I'm not going to complain b/c that is more opportunities for us to see our sweet babies.

Happy Game Day!!!

Its amazing how many people in Sooner Nation compare game day to Christmas morning.  Well today is one special Christmas morning.  There was no sleeping in at the Miller house.  The nerves and excitement for tonights game against Florida State had us up early!  We started the day off with a breakfast for champions, eggs, pancakes, etc while watchng game day.  As I'm blogging we only have 3 hours until kickoff between #1 Oklahoma and #5 Florida State.  Thank goodness!  The anticipation is killing us.

Maddie and Bailey are ready for the game!

Devon Picnic at the Zoo

Today was Devon's family picnic at the OKC Zoo.  Unfortunately, we only make it to the zoo once a year.  I'm sure we will be frequenting more often once the twins arrive.  It was amazing how many double strollers I noticed.  Definitely seems manageable to have a zoo outing with two small ones!  Just the reassurance I needed.  We can't wait for the Devon picnic to roll around next year so we can introduce the twins to the zoo!

I have been anxiously waiting to see the new baby elephant, Malee.  She was born in April weighing in around 350 lbs.  Isn't she precious . . .

Lazy Sunday for these gorillas!
Don't mind the gorilla in the back . . .

Looks like your average teddy bear
Thankfully our weather has been a little cooler and we were able to enjoy a Sunday morning at the zoo with our co-workers!

Its Time . . .

Its football time in Oklahoma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have been waiting to hear those words since late last fall.  Saturday kicks of college football with OU opening as #1 in the nation.  Hopefully we can stay injury free and head to New Orleans in January!  Granted Tyler and I will not be heading anywhere in January, we have babies to deliver :)
