Kansas City

What a special weekend I had with Jackson in Kansas City in March!  We went for a soccer tournament but turned it into a fun filled sports weekend!  It's not very often I get one on one time with Jackson so I soaked in every minute of this weekend with him!  He is such a fun kid to hang with! 

Kansas City was a host city for sweet 16 March madness games.  Since we were in town why not go?!?!?  OU didn't make the tournament so it was some carefree/stress-free basketball watching.  Some of our favorite soccer families joined the fun!

Jackson dominated some soccer while in Kansas City as well!  He sure is fun to watch!  

We also went to a MLS game to watch Sporting Kansas City with Jackson's soccer team.  This was our first MLS game and it was a blast!!!

After a full weekend of soccer Jackson crashed immediately on the car ride home!

We drove straight to Stillwater to meet Mason's baseball team at the OSU baseball game.  Both boys teams were playing in Stillwater for the weekend.

Then J took the mound in Stillwater  . . .

Jackson never ceases to amaze me!  He can do it all and loves doing it!  He is the hardest worker and most coachable kid I've ever seen.  A weekend with him reminded me of how witty, chatty, inquisitive and great sidekick he is!  I sure love this kid!

Patience Award - Harper

 Harper received the patience award at school and I could not be more proud of her!!!  I was at school popping popcorn for spirit day Friday so I was able to watch the assembly and the presentation of her award.  So thankful for being able to catch special moments like this!

Harper shows patience in everything she does!  She is especially patient with her brothers!  Her patience allows her to be calm, easy going, a great friend and family member, focused and so much more!

Keep up your patience sis!  We all wish we a little bit of your patience!!!  Lord knows I need it!

Not surprised at all that Harper's best friend Maddie also received the patience award!  These two have a special bond and having similar personality traits continues to make their friendship stronger!
