Water Babies

Jackson and Harper are little fishies that can not get enough of the water!  They thought the shallow toddler pool in Nana and Grandpa's neighborhood was pretty cool!

Sister give me some rings!!!!  Harper's face says it all . . . these are mine!

J&H also did some swimming at Nana and Grandpa's house.

Too bad daddy wasn't in town to see all the fish Miss Harper caught in her net!

Naked drummer boy!  Love those little buns!

Adorable!

J&H blow me away everyday with how cute they are!  Their little personalities are just as cute as their adorable faces!  They are becoming the bestest of friends.

And even more adorable is how much they love their daddy!

Best life!

Dadda's Day

Jackson and Harper are pretty lucky to have such an amazing dadda!  He is so loving, playful, nurturing and hands on with his babies.  J&H light up when their dadda comes into the room!  Their giggles, smiles and twinkle in their eyes show just how much they love him.  I could not do it without our amazing dadda.  We love you so much!

We spent this dadda's day playing all day!  We started with a morning walk to the park while it was somewhat cool.  J&H had a blast.  They were like little energizer bunnies that couldn't get enough of running around.

Like father, like son . . . does it get any cuter???

Water break . . . these two love each other, melts my heart!

By the time we made it back home the sun was out and it was hot!  Jackson found the hose, drug it out and was ready to cool off.
He insisted on trying to fill up his drink cup
and Harper decided she didn't need her cup . . . thirsty girl!

After watching sissy, Jackson finally decided to give it a try
After a morning of fresh air and running around the twins were ready for a long nap!  And while they napped dadda tested out his new floating koozie :)

Perfect weekend!  The twins were healthy and in fabulous moods!  I will be one sad momma dropping the twins off at school Monday morning after such a fun weekend.

DC Vacay

Tyler and I just returned from a trip to Washington DC.  I attended a work conference in the nation's capital and Tyler tagged along.  It was fun turning a work trip into a mini vacation.  Although I attended a few classes we still had plenty of time for lots of sight-seeing and playing.  And the best part was some of our favorite work friends joined us in the fun!

We started our trip with a 6:30 am flight, seriously what was I thinking booking such an early flight! But the earlier the flight the earlier you get to your destination.  We took full advantage of arriving early by exploring DC by foot.

Highlight of the day was seeing Marine One landing in the south lawn of the White House dropping off President Obama
After a day of touring DC we went to a Nationals vs Mets baseball game.  I'm not a huge baseball fan but the weather was absolutely perfect to take in a game!  Plus it made the hubs happy :)
Post game testing out the subway, definitely rookies!
Chinatown
We started the next day with a little duck tour by land and water, quack quack

Union Station

WWII Memorial
After our first day of walking we quickly learned bikes were the best way to explore the city!

Lincoln Memorial

Found a future anniversary present, hint hint hubs . . . the Hope Diamond
Some of the ladies enjoying a drink while the boys watched game 1 of the NBA finals
And one of the best surprises of the trip was getting to hang out with a college friend who now lives in Houston.  I love that so many of our friends or their spouses work in the same industry!

Such a fun trip but I was so ready to get home to my munchkins!  I need a vacation from our vacation because I'm exhausted!!!
