Spring is here

Spring is in the air and we are soaking up this nice weather.  J&H can't get enough of being outside.  From the moment we get home from work until bed we are outside, jumping on the trampoline, playing soccer, riding bikes and playing with our neighbor friends.  I'm not sure where the twins are getting their endless energy bc they are definitely burning crazy amounts!

Jackson is beyond obsessed with soccer and he is pretty good for a 2 year old.

Taking a little break relaxing in the bed of daddy's truck looking super cute!

Jackson has mastered the pedals on his bike and he is a fast little biker!

Looks like Mason will be an outdoor baby from day 1!

Dear Mason

Dear Mason,

We are anxiously awaiting your arrival in just a few short weeks.  As your arrival approaches so many emotions are consuming me.  I’m so excited to finally see your precious face and hold you in my arms.  I’m also excited and anxious for Jackson and Harper to become a big brother and big sister.  I’m nervous to have 3 children under the age of 2.5 years.  I’m sad for all the last times to begin, starting with the last time experiencing the journey of being pregnant.  But most of all my heart is full knowing my family is about to be complete.

Mason, you are entering a home full of love, laughs, chaos and so much more.  Jackson and Harper have been giving you kisses every night, they try to feed my belly their milk and they always whisper I love you Mason.  They are so ready to be your big brother and big sister.  Jackson is ready for a teammate, someone to rough house with, someone to make laugh and someone to side with him when sister is being bossy.  Harper is ready for someone to mother, someone to dress up and someone to play her student or patient.

I’m ready to start our journey as a family of five.  We are all so excited to meet you and love on you.  You are truly a blessing and a miracle to our family!  We love you so much sweet Mason!

Couples Shower

Some of our dearest friends, the Zantouts and Hills, kindly hosted a couples shower for baby Mason Saturday evening.  We had so much fun celebrating Mason with some of our closest couples friends!  It was a much needed, child free, evening out!  Mason is already so loved!

Thanks ladies for such a fun shower!

Somehow this is the only pic Tyler and I snapped together!  At least we got one.

Birthday cake shots for baby Mason and water for me!  21 years buddy and you can join!
Basically everything Mason has is hand me downs from Jackson and Harper.  It is nice to now have a few things of his own!  Thanks to all our friends for showering, Mason (and Tyler and I) with lots of love!

Lucky Charms

After a tough weekend, we were in need of a little St. Patty's Day cheer!  These two always bring a smile to my face!

This is as good as it gets at 6:30 am before heading off to school!

And by the time work and school was out, Harper lost her bow and I lost my green
and Jackson scored a nice a little bruise on his forehead

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Millers!  Next year I will be celebrating with a green beer in hand!

RIP Bailey Kate

Last night we had to make a tough decision to put our beloved Bailey down due to a disc rupturing in her back.  It has been an emotional weekend that we definitely weren’t prepared for.  Bailey was perfectly healthy Friday and by Saturday morning she could no longer walk.  It was heartbreaking!  But she is now in a better place, hopefully eating tons of treats, running endlessly and loving on everyone like she did best.

Bailey was the most loving and loyal dog.  She never left our sides while we were home.  I might have complained about her squealing with excitement every time we walked into the house, her tracking in grass, her always at my feet or snuggled by my side.  But everything she did was completely out of love.  She squealed because she was so excited to see us home, she tracked in grass because she loved to be outside and she was always snuggled up because she loved us unconditionally!  Bailey was the best dog with Jackson and Harper.  She was so patient with them, she allowed them to chase her around, pull her hair and wake her up from deep sleep.
Bailey has always been extra special to us.  She was a wedding present to ourselves the day after we returned from our honeymoon.  We saw her at the pet store the week before our wedding and fell in love.  We said that if she was still there when we returned we had to have her.  Lucky for us, that sweet little Beagle was still at the pet store when we returned!
Bailey Kate we will miss you more than you can imagine.  Like we told Jackson and Harper, you are in a better place up in Heaven, jumping from cloud to cloud and running with the airplanes.  We love you sweet girl!

The Happy Couple

The wedding festivities for Steph and Matt have officially begun.  We kicked off the wedding season with a couples shower this past Saturday at our house.  Tyler and I were so happy to help shower the happy couple with love and fun gifts.  We can't wait for the wedding and for Matt to officially join the fam!

Matt's sister and sister in law made these super cute bride and groom cupcake cakes!  They tasted just as good as they looked!

The happy couple!

Bridesmaids minus one and plus a bun in the oven!
What's a couples shower without a little flip cup!

Counting down until the actual day.  103 days to go and to get by butt into shape after baby Mason arrives.
