Boomer Sooner

It's finally football time in Oklahoma.  These three are definitely Sooner Born and Sooner Bred!  They were so excited to put on their crimson and cream this morning and to do a little OU chant.  Fall is in the air!

Tuesday Cuteness

Life has been a little busy and unfortunately I haven't been capturing and blogging all the precious moments with J, H and M lately.  Jackson and Harper have been so funny . . . you never know what will come out of their little mouths.  And Mason is growing and changing on a daily basis.  Just wish I had more time to enjoy my three munchkins.

Jackson gives Mason more kisses than I can count each day!

Little man mastered tummy time and is finally rolling both directions!
Story time with big brother . . .
And a tea party with big sister . . . Mason never has to worry about being bored!
And sister had a little too much fun during potty time, it looks like her hand washing turned into a full bath!
These three light up my life!

4 Months!

Happy 4 months to my sweet, perfect and BIG little man! Mason is still super chill and always happy.  Within in the past two weeks he has discovered his voice and he is now our little chatter box.  He definitely competes with J&H on noise level!

We just went in for Mason's 4 month checkup and the Dr. confirmed that Mason is a BIG boy!
Weight:  17 lbs 8 oz (91%)
Height:  26 1/4" (89%)
Head Size:  45 cm (98%)

Tyler has always said that the second boy in a family is always bigger.  Since the day I found out I was pregnant with Mason, Tyler started comparing Jackson and Mason to Taylor and Blake Griffin (Taylor is still tall but younger Blake takes the cake)  The tables can turn at anytime, but for the time being Tyler's belief holds true.  Mason is an all around big boy!

This month we introduced baby food to Mason's diet.  Since he is growing boy he needed some food with substance.  He picked up on eating with a spoon immediately and even insists on holding the spoon and guiding it into his mouth.  His favorites so far are apples, carrots, squash and bananas.

The Dr. also confirmed that our big little man needs ear tubes ASAP!  Of course, he has another double ear infection!  The Dr. said it's no ordinary ear infection.  He basically said his ears look awful and medication won't get rid of the ear infection it will only manage his pain.  Poor guy!  He has been such a trooper!  So off to the ENT Dr. we go, too bad it's a 3 week wait just to get a consultation. You would think with this being the third child to get tubes you would get some sort of priority :)

We love you Mason more than you can imagine.  You have completed our family!

All those smiles and giggles make a boy sleepy!

Three Amigos

Jackson, Harper and Mason are the best three amigos!  Jackson and Harper are really starting to entertain each other and play so well.  Don't get me wrong we still have our fair share of fights but that is expected when you have two kiddos the exact same age that always want the same toys.  Mason is the perfect third best friend.  Jackson and Harper are head over heals for little brother and Mason feels the same about them.  He smiles, laughs and coos at them non-stop.  The three are the perfect matches for each other!

And all three of them are my best little buds!

Potty Trained

J&H have officially been potty trained for two weeks now which put them right at 2.5 years old.  I wanted to post the good news earlier but I didn't want to jinx it.  Adios toddler diapers, well at least for now!  We hadn't pushed potty training on the twins.  My mindset was to let it happen when they were ready and two Sundays ago they were ready!

It is a whole different world now!  My first job on any outing is to scope out the bathroom situation so I am prepared for the inevitable "I need to potty" moment.  And once one has to go the other all of a sudden has to go also.  I have never visited so many bathrooms and washed so many little hands (public restrooms are GROSS)!  I haven't packed extra clothes for the twins in at least a year and now I'm right back at it.  They really don't have accidents, our biggest problem is not sitting far enough back on the toilet which can be messy!

And the biggest change is getting up with multiple kiddos during the night!  If Mason wasn't enough, we now have two toddlers that need to pee at least once a night!  I'm sure with time the novelty will wear off but for now I will accept being exhausted and enjoy having the extra $50 in savings a week!

I love my little underwear and panty wearing kiddos!
