It's the Most Wonderful Time of Year

December truly is the most wonderful time of the year, especially when we are experiencing it through the eyes of 3 little kids.  We have had a super busy and fun filled December thus far.  Lots of Christmas parties, Santa visits, cookie making, movie watching and basically anything celebrating the season.

All three kids have loved curling up watching Christmas movies.  I will never deny that request!

The kids had their Christmas program early in December and they all did great.  Tyler and I learned a lesson not to distract Jackson from his music teacher.  He was told to look at her and when mom and dad were trying to get his attention, we quickly got scolded with a "knock it off" and "stop looking at me".  It was too funny.

Santa made a surprise visit at the end of the kids singing "Santa Claus is coming to town".  The look on their faces was priceless!

Mason came on stage for the last four songs.  No tears and lots of belly showing!
We went to the Edmond electric night Christmas parade.  The kids LOVED it.  Fire trucks, cars and trucks with Christmas lights is just what our kids like.

We made gingerbread houses for the first time with the kids . . .

Tyler and I had lots of Christmas parties . . .

We had our annual adults night out with dinner at the Ranch and The Christmas Carol . . .

I ran in the Santa Run and then had a morning of fun at Devon's Saturday with Santa . . .

We had breakfast with Santa at Oak Tree followed by a carriage ride around downtown Edmond.  Breakfast with Santa was so fun.  We got our own personal unrushed family time with Santa.  The kids were in heaven and had a such a good conversation with Santa.

And we had family over for a pre holiday dinner . . .

And I enjoyed the cuteness overload . . .

We took the big kids snow tubing at the ballpark . . .

We decorated cookies for Santa in our pjs . . . hope he loves sprinkles!

We loaded up in our pjs and took the Polar Express to the North Pole . . .

Such a fun month and a fun week leading up to Christmas at home with my babies! I don't want the magic of Christmas season to end.
