Miss Blue Eyes

This little lady has the biggest most beautiful eyes.  I would love to have her eyelashes!  Almost everyone's first comment when they meet Harper is about her big eyes!  This picture says it all!

Always Changing

We have had a big couple of weeks in the Miller house . . .  there is never a dull moment!

Harper now prefers to sleep on her tummy

She also likes to hold her bottle and feed herself

And Jackson is all over the place.  He wiggles his way across the room.  He started on the blanket in this picture!

Big Boy

Look at this big boy . . . I can't get over how cute he is!

By far the most adorable twins :)  This is pretty typical, Jackson is being a ham and Harper is miss serious.

Future Raindrop

I think we have a future Thunder Raindrop on her hands!  I decided to bust out the Thunder tutu (made by her grandpa) and Thunder bow (made by me :)) for game 5 of the NBA finals.  I was pulling out all the stops hoping for a W.  Although we didn't win Harper still looked super cute cheering on our Thunder boys.  She has already started practicing her dance moves!  Hopefully she has better rythm than her parents.

I think she knew how cute she looked!

6 Fabulous Years

6 years ago today Tyler made me the happiest lady!  Now I am the happiest woman, wife and mother.  Thank you Tyler for 6 amazing years!  I could not ask for a better husband, best friend and father to our beautiful babies.  I never thought my love for you could grow stronger than it was on June 24, 2006 but I was certainly wrong!  I love you now more than ever!  You are the only person that I can spend almost every waking hour with. It takes a special relationship to work together, carpool plus spend every evening and weekend together.  I absolutely love all of our time together!  I look forward to all of the adventures and challenges ahead!  Love you honey!!!

Happy Father's Day

Thank you for being the most amazing dad to Jackson and Harper.  They absolutely adore you.  Their eyes always light up when you walk into the room.  You can get smiles and giggles out of them that no one else can.  They are so lucky to have you as their daddy.  We all LOVE you!

Swinging

The twins had a surprise waiting for them in Mimi and Papa's backyard, two swings!  They loved their swings and will continue to love them for years to come.

And they also loved snuggling in the hammock!

Happy 5 Months!

Happy 5 month birthday Jackson and Harper!  We celebrate each month as if it was a huge milestone!  In all honesty each month is a milestone because 1) we are surviving and loving twin life and 2) the twins are changing everyday and tackling many milestones each month!

Little Man, Bubba, Mr. Man and the list goes on . . . you are the life of a party!  You are a chatterbox and you love to smile and giggle!  Your smile and squeals light up a room.  You are so active.  Your little legs and arms are constantly on the move.  Over the past few weeks you have really started to grab for your toys.  I have downloaded a baby rattle on my iphone and you hold my phone in awe of the bright lights and noise.  I can't believe my 5 month old already has his hands on a cell phone!
Weight:    approx. 14 lbs 8 oz
Clothes:    3-6 months
Diapers:    Size 2
Food:        you eat 4-5 ounces every 4 hours and then oatmeal twice a day with a fruit/veggie in the
evening. So far pears and carrots are your favorite!  You are a pro eating off a spoon and
you love to try and feed yourself!
Likes:       you LOVE your play mat especially the light up star, the rattle app on my iphone, the
light up rolly snail toy (this will be the toy that gets you to crawl), bath time, outside, fans,
books, TV.  You are now trying to tackle blowing raspberries, you find it so entertaining!
Sleep:       two naps a day (at daycare your naps are 2 hours a piece but at home you never sleep that
long), at night you sleep around 7 hours before you want to eat.  Ear infections and
congestion have definitely been an obstacle to sleeping through the night

Sissy, aka Little Miss . . . you are the soft spoken child.  Like your brother, you also like to chat but your voice it much quieter and more reserved than your brothers.  You are so observant.  Your big beautiful eyes are always soaking in your surroundings.  You love to stare at your brother and your puppies.

Weight:    approx. 14 lbs 8 oz
Clothes:    3-6 months
Diapers:    Size 2
Food:        you eat 4-5 ounces every 4 hours and then oatmeal twice a day with a fruit/veggie in the
evening.  So far pears are your favorite!
Likes:       standing, sitting in your bumbo, bath time, outside, fans, books, TV, mirrors, your
                 caterpillar toy, balls, the swing
Sleep:       two naps a day (at daycare your naps are 2 hours a piece but at home you never sleep that
long), you are basically sleeping through the night by sleeping 9-10 hours straight.  Way to
                 go sister!

Look at those eyelashes!

Maddie wanted to join in on the 5 month celebrations!

Working on blowing raspberries
This would be the twinnies favorite toy, Mr. Snail!  They just can't get close enough.

The caterpillar is a close second as the favorite toy.

Jackson and Harper we love you more than you can imagine!  Happy 5 months!!!

Freedom

Harper is now a free lady while she sleeps!  We have finally let her arms loose out of the swaddle.  So far, so good!  She just loves having her arms behind her head.  This child sure knows how to relax!!!

Jackson still sleeps with his arms swaddled!  He is a wild and crazy man and letting his arms loose makes for a disastrous night of sleep!

Much Needed

Tyler and I had a much needed night out and by night out I mean the ENTIRE night out!  We went to dinner with friends, the Thunder game and spent the night at the Skirvin.  Tyler's mom came into town to watch the twins so Tyler and I could have some QT together.  I was so sad to leave them for the evening but it was a much needed night out.  They were in good hands so there was nothing to worry about.

Obviously since the twins have arrived we are no longer going to every Thunder game.  We have been to a few of the playoff games but not all of them.  Its hard to fully enjoy the games when they start so late.  The entire game I'm worrying about the twins and my restless night ahead.  Knowing that we had a full night of sleep ahead of us, Tyler and I were able to FULLY enjoy the Thunder win!  Exciting times in OKC!  Thunder UP!!!!

Our season ticket rep gave us passes to the VIP lounge when I was pregnant so I wouldn't have to walk all the way upstairs to use the restroom.  One of the perks to being almost 8 months pregnant with twins when the season started.  Another perk is the passes were good for the entire season!!!

Serge Ibaka had quite the game, 11 for 11!
Me and Mr. Ernie Johnson himself at the Skirvin after the game!
Although I didn't get a picture with Charles Barkley I did shake his hand.  He has definitely warmed up to OKC!

Thank you Mimi for giving us the night off!  Although it was a great night I was so ready to see my babies Sunday morning!
