Fall Break Fun

We took full advantage of fall break and filled our schedule with lots of fun! Seriously such a fun four days with my 3 favorite littles.  Now we need a day of rest to recover from our busy fall break!

We kicked off fall break with an evening trip to Chuckie Cheese.  J&H have been helping around the house to earn money for a Chuckie Cheese trip.  Fall break was the perfect time to cash in that hard earned money!

We followed up Chuckie Cheese with ice cream!  A kids dream night!

Friday morning we headed to Orr Family Farm to fight the crowds of people for some pumpkin patch fun.

We kicked off the weekend with a trip to Tulsa to visit one of Tyler's college buddies and his family.  We took full advantage of their family land and went fishing, shot skeet, road 4 wheelers and roasted marshallows around the fire.  Such a fun day and evening outdoors with great friends!

These kids were having way too fun to stop for a picture!
Sunday morning we loaded up early to head back to OKC for a landman's family fun run.  J&H successfully completed their first 1 mile run.  They might have been complaining that their knees, shoulders, elbows and bellies hurt as they crossed the finished line BUT they did it.  Once those medals were around their necks all the pain went away and it was pure smiles!

The race took place along the Oklahoma River so the kids couldn't resist checking out the boathouses!  Rowers in the making . . .

Face painting topped off the afternoon of fun!

After a weekend of fun these three were exhausted!

Charleston

Charleston has topped my list of places I wanted to visit for the past few years.  I finally got to mark it off my list a few weeks ago and it didn't disappoint.  We had an amazing time eating and drinking our way through Charleston.  The cobblestone streets, old historic buildings and ocean views were exactly what I had pictured.  It is such a charming and historic city.  Tyler and I aren't foodies but Charleston blew us away.  Every meal was amazing and the restaurant choices were endless!  We found the most perfect boutique hotel in the heart of Charleston.  Free coffee in the morning, wine and cheese at HH, cookies and milk before bed, free bikes, selfie sticks and a fireplace in our room.  I wasn't ready to leave!

We stumbled across a taping of Southern Charm and of course we weren't going to miss out.  We signed our releases, took our pictures and went in for the taping.  Guess I need to start watching once the new season starts.

We took bikes for a spin our last afternoon and rode along the coast then toured through some of the downtown neighbors. The houses were beautiful.

Happy hour with a view!
 Much needed weekend get away!
