Two Week Recap

We have now been loving on little man Mason for two weeks and it is amazing how quickly time is flying by!  So far he has been a pretty easy baby, but really any one baby should seem easy in comparison to twins.  Mimi was in town last week and it was so nice having an extra set of hands to help with all the kiddos.  We all enjoyed her being in town but come Sunday we were getting anxious to test out being outnumbered!  So far everything has been going smoothly and we are surviving with 3 under two and a half :)

Love baby sleep smiles!

Jackson is in LOVE with Mason!
and he insists on kissing him all the time.
Jackson is still a little ham
I love looking into the baby monitor and seeing/capturing moments like this!  Daddy/son moments are the best!
And daddy/daughter moments are just as amazing!  These three kiddos are very lucky to have such an amazing daddy!
Harper has a new found love for her baby dolls!  She feeds her baby when I feed Mason . . .
She changes her baby's diaper when I change Mason . . .
And she cuddles her baby every night!
She is also still a ham and loves flashing her cheesy smile!
It has been a good first two weeks as a family of five!  We have our hands full but we are loving it.

Mason's Nursery

Mason's room has been a work in progress for the past few months.  Thank you Tyler for agreeing to paint vertical stripes although I know it was not your first choice!  Mason and I will always love you for the countless hours you spent making it perfect!

Papparazi

Mason has two little paparazzi's snapping pics of him all the time on top of his momma always taking pictures!  We want to capture every moment.  Poor little man never gets any peace and quiet time.

A Very Happy Easter

Easter was extra special this year!  A happy and healthy baby Mason was at home and we had both sets of grandparents in town. The twins were so excited for all their special guests, including the Easter bunny.

There was a chance of rain Sunday morning so the Easter bunny hid all the eggs in the house just in case.  I was shocked at how good the twins were at finding their eggs.  Looks like next year the Easter bunny will have to hide them a little better!

Harper was just a little excited to see what the Easter bunny had left her . . .
There were eggs everywhere, riding Thomas

Hidden high on shelves
In doll houses, and the twins found every one.

We had a very happy and blessed Easter with our family!

Mason Mark Miller

The Miller family is now complete!  Mason Mark Miller was born at 9:53 am April 16, 2014, weighing in at 7 lbs, 13 oz and 20 inches long.  We are completely in love with our perfect little man!
The delivery went smoothly, besides me passing out, and Tyler and I are now enjoying the quiet time recovering with Mason.

Jackson and Harper were so excited the morning of Mason's arrival.  We tried to a make the day as normal as possible and dropped them off at school on the way to the hospital.  They proudly wore their Big Bro/Big Sis shirts!

Dads was looking hot in his shower cap!

Love at first sight!

Let the introductions begin . . .
proud grandparents

And the introduction I was most nervous and anxious about was Jackson and Harper meeting Mason for the first time.  I had no doubt in my mind they would love Mason but I wasn't sure how they would initially react.  The introduction could not have gone any smoother.  J&H LOVE Mason more than I could have ever imagined. It was a moment, actually two hours, I will never forget!  Harper has officially claimed Mason as her baby!

Harper immediately wanted to hold Mason's hand

We celebrated Mason's birthday with cupcakes and presents for the twins.  Mason knew exactly what the twins would want, a fire truck and a dollhouse!  What a good little brother :)
looks like we need to enter Jackson in a pie eating competition since he seems to think he can eat without hands
Jackson was so sweet with Mason!  He set aside his rough and tough toddler side to snuggle up to his baby brother.

Although we are so ready to get home to the twins and begin our lives as a family of 5, we are thoroughly enjoying our time in the hospital with our newest little man!  Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers this past week!  We are so lucky to have such amazing and supportive family and friends.
