Broken Bow

Broken Bow is a Miller favorite for a quick get away!  We've never been in the fall so we decided to make it happen this fall break!  Mase said it was his turn to travel with friends and we were so excited to make that happen!  Two days in Broken Bow with a few of our favorite baseball families, 28 people to be exact in one house!  We are so lucky to do life with these families!  Not only have the boys become best friends, but parents and siblings have as well!  No other group I would rather spend so many weekends with!

We pulled into town and went straight to the river to do some fly fishing!  The boys are hooked since Idaho.

Love these boys and their friendships so much!  Wish they were Sooner fans but we've learned to live with all the orange and black!

Sweetest group of sisters around!
And love these moms just as much!
There were endless games of pooled played throughout the weekend!
We also "cheered" on the pokes with this OSU crew!
We played lots of games . . .

Had a few sleepless nights in the bunkroom . . .
had lots of hot tub time . . .
and good times around the campfire!
We ventured out one morning and did a group kayak trip!  This is a bus full of good people!

Tyler had the boys doing all the work while he did some fishing!  Good for him!

What a great few days with our Braves family!

OU/TX

Despite the terrible loss we had the best time taking the kids to their first OU/TX game.  Such a fun weekend experiencing the Red River rivalry traditions with the kids!

We got to Dallas and headed straight to sushi happy hour!  Almost every get away for the Millers now includes a sushi outing!
We couldn't come to Dallas without seeing the Paynes!  We sure have missed them since their move but these kids didn't skip a beat!  An evening of smiles, laughs and catching up was just what we all needed!

These friendships are the best!
And these two have the most special bond!

It was an early morning but we beat the traffic and made it to the State Fair of TX just in time to eat corn dogs for breakfast!  First up, a picture with Big Tex . . .

Win or lose, horns are always down!

One of my favorite OU/TX traditions is eating a Fletchers corndog at 9am!

J was the daredevil and this was his ride of choice!  Made me sick just watching him spin upside down!

Roy Williams will always be one of our favorite OU players!

The best part of the weekend was that all 5 of my Millers were together!  Those weekends are hard to come by with how busy the kids are so weekends together are always special!
