Happy 7th Birthday Mason

Happy 7th birthday to my brown eyed baby boy!  You sure make life so much sweeter!  You are a free spirit that still loves to play, could fish all day long (even without catching anything), you constantly search for land and a boat, you spend afternoons hunting in the back yard with your bow and arrow, you have a huge passion for baseball, you have the biggest sweet tooth but most importantly you have the biggest heart for your family!  Your love is so strong and you know just how to show that love when we need it the most!  You also have an ornery side that keeps us all on our toes!  I have no doubt you will be the Miller kid that tests your limits as you get older!  We all LOVE YOU BIG!!!

Mason was so excited to celebrate his bday with his Raptor teammates.  His one request was a dodgeball game.  After a 2020 quarantined birthday we knew we had to make his birthday dodgeball request happen!  We kicked off a week of birthday festivities at Surge!

Love this group of baseball boys big!  They went hard playing dodgeball for 2+ hrs.  Mason was in his element!

Mason's face says it all!  Birthday party success!

Mason is not a cake/cupcake lover but he could eat donuts all day long, so donut cake it was!

The week of birthday celebrations continued with Mason's birthday dinner at Sumo hibachi.  Mason got to chose his family birthday dinner destination and without hesitation he picked Sumo!  Family favorite for sure!
The birthday fairy made her annual visit and left some fun surprises for the birthday boy!  She sure is fun and makes the kids' birthdays extra special!

Mason's one birthday must have was a dirt bike!  We had always said a hard "no" on dirt bikes but we caved and we now have a little daredevil that cruises the neighborhood non-stop!

The last birthday celebration was an afternoon of pickleball at Chicken and Pickle!  Tyler and I had been once with all our neighbors and had the best time!  We were so excited to bring the kids!  Such a fun place for OKC!  Mason's actual birthday fell on April Day (day off from school) so it was the perfect rainy day fun!

Opening Day

The Braves' dads surprised the boys with a day trip to the Rangers home opener.  The dads planned the entire day, down to the uniform tops they were wearing.  They even got a big van so all the boys could ride down together!  Such a fun day of hooky for the boys AND the dads!   The Rangers are the only stadium in all sports to open at full capacity during the pandemic!  Definitely supporting the Rangers this season for that decision!

Easter

Such a fun Easter weekend for the Miller crew!  We had no tournaments so we got to celebrate all weekend long!  We started off the festivities with our neighborhood egg hunt!  I took very few pictures which means we were having a great time!

Never too old for a pic with the Easter bunny!

Crazy to think last Easter was our first virtual church service of quarantine!  Felt so good to be back in person for Easter service this year!

Spring Ball

Spring ball is off to a great start!  We sure love watching our Braves, Diamond Dolls and Raptors!  We might live at the ballfields but we wouldn't change it for anything!

The Diamond Dolls transitioned to kid pitch this spring.  Harper has been working hard on her pitching skills and it definitely shows!  She is doing awesome on the mound and is becoming pretty consistent throwing strikes.  If she isn't pitching she has been catching.  She is a natural at catcher and loves the position.  So much action and so important in kid pitch.

The Braves have been moving up the USSSA rankings this spring!  They aren't playing league so its a tournament every weekend!  Luckily we love this group of families and don't mind spending all our weekends together!

A little pre game chat between best buds!

Sometimes you lose a bet and have to wear OSU orange during your coaching duties!

The first few baseball tournaments were cold so comfies and the pod were musts! Never thought I would be one of those moms sitting in a pod but the Oklahoma wind forced me to break down and buy one!

Only Edmond, OK still gives out trophies!
The Raptors have also had a great start this spring.  They had some tough early tournament matchups but it only made them better!

Mason is one tough ball player!
