Boomer Sooner

Another crazy busy but fun weekend in the books.  The fair, Frozen on Ice, OU football game, Devon United Way kickoff . . . our kids should sleep for days from all the excitement (wishful thinking).  A rainy Sunday is just what we need to wind down from the weekend!

Jackson was showing off his ice skating moves he learned at Frozen on Ice.  Such a manly thing to do while tailgating!

Game days in Norman aren't complete without a stop at New York Pizza!

We had about an hour break between the OU game and Devon's United Way kickoff at the ballpark.  No time for naps!  Luckily Batman and Cinderella greeted us at the ballpark so the twins were on cloud nine from the start!

We all got to make help make backpacks for United Way recipients.

This was seriously a kids dream . . . all three kids ran and ran and ran around the outfield for hours!

Such a fun weekend!!!

Breckenridge 2015

We just returned home from a perfect quick getaway to Breckenridge.  This was our first trip with just the 5 of us and it could not have gone more smoothly.  The kids were so excited to head to the mountains for a little R&R.  And I was beyond excited to spend time with them away from the hustle and bustle of everything at home.  No schedule and no set plans was just what this family needed.  We fished, had picnics, rode the ski lifts to the top of the mountain, went to the park, ate delicious food, had dance parties late at night and early in the morning, ate ice cream and cookies every day, cozied up in our sweats and relaxed in the hot tub.  PERFECT three days!  Hearing the kids say "this is so fun" and "this is awesome" made the trip even more worthwhile.

J&H were beyond excited to ride in an airplane.  We had a 3 week countdown to the big event that just couldn't come soon enough.

All that traveling wore these three cuties out!  Made for a quiet and peaceful drive from Denver to Breck!

little man loved waking up to the crisp mountain air!

This little guy decided to play with us at the park, not sure if we should have been a little nervous but the kids didn't skip a beat!

J&H were the biggest helpers pushing Mason through the airport while we were dragging all the suitcases.  Thank goodness they think it's fun to help!
J was so excited to go in the cockpit and meet the pilot on our flight home.  His smile says it all!
I'm ready to start planning on next little get away!
