Full Day of Sports!

Harper's softball team cheered on the OU softball team.  The Diamond Dolls went as a team and were able to go on the field before the game for the anthem, take a locker room tour, meet the head coach and get autographs from the entire team.  Pretty cool experience for our little softball players, especially considering the OU softball team is back to back champions!

Shaking head coach Patty Gasso's hand!

Tyler and Jackson snuck over to watch a few innings of the OU/Texas baseball game!
Our full day of sports ended with a Thunder win in Game 1 of the playoffs!

Found Tyler's name on the season ticket holder wall!  Season ticket holders from the beginning of the Thunder!

Happy 4th Birthday Mason

Happy 4th birthday to the little boy that completed our family!  We love you more than you could ever imagine, more stars in the galaxy, more than Devon and Continental, more than the entire universe, more stars than in the galaxy (these are all the ways you tell us every night how much you love us).  You bring so much joy, laughter and love to our lives.  I have so many ways to describe my little Mase:
  • you have the most beautiful and big brown eyes, and you know how to work those eyes to get anything you want
  • you are one funny little boy, and make the silliest facial expressions.  You can convince anyone of anything with your head nod!
  • you are SO loving and cuddly, you give the tightest hugs and the most kisses.  I hope you cuddle in my arms forever and fall asleep in my lap always
  • you are so ornery
  • you love your sports (tball, soccer, golf, tennis, basketball)
  • you are so sneaky and are constantly sneaking snacks from the pantry or gum from my purse
  • you are one dinosaur chicken nugget and blueberry muffin loving kid
  • you are one smart 4 year old and soak in everything your brother and sister are learning
  • you have the most contagious smile!
We love you M!!!!!!!!  You will rock being a 4 year old.

This is M's initial reaction anytime we ask him to take a picture with a girl!  One of these days he will gladly do it!

 Birthday parties are exhausting!!!
This picture sums up my little M.  He brings a smile to my face constantly, just look at this precious face!  Loved my birthday morning donut date!

Teacher Walkout

We are now on Day 6 of the teacher walkout to fully fund education in Oklahoma!  The kids have been out of school for the past 6 days while their teachers have been fighting for them at the Oklahoma capital.  On day 4 a group of neighbors brought the kids down to the capital to show our teachers that we stand with them in this fight!  It was such a good experience for the kids to see and helped them understand why they have been out of school.  Their teachers care about them and their future more than I could have ever imagined!  We are beyond blessed to have such a supportive, caring and dedicated group of teachers!

The kids handed out snacks to the teachers.  They were definitely a hit with everyone and brought smiles to so many faces.  Once we were out of snacks, they highfived, fist pounded and said thank you to all the teachers walking by!

One of our neighbors made us tshirts that said "Parents Stand with Teachers" and "Students Stand with Teachers".  The teachers were so thankful for our support!

Spring Ball

We kicked off spring ball this past week!  We have three of the cutest baseball, softball, tballers around!  It is going to be a VERY BUSY spring but we wouldn't change it for anything.  Watching these three play and learn is so much fun.

Mason has been watching J&H play ball for years and could not wait to get out on the field.  He has been practicing in the backyard for months and it definitely showed.  He got 4 outs his first game and hit the ball so well.  Way to go M!!!  We are all so proud of you!

The big brothers cheering on the littles!
We had three games the first full night of the season!  First up M, then H, then J.

The girls had fun cheering on J after their game.  He liked showing off for his cheerleaders and hit the first ball to the fence!
