Malibu

Tyler and I just got back from a fun and busy 48 hours in the Malibu, CA area.  We went out to Cali for one of my college roommates weddings.  It was so much fun catching up with my college girlfriends and their significant others.  It had been WAY too long since we had all been together.  It was so good for the soul to have a little girl time and also some adult time with the hubs!  Everything about the weekend was perfect!  Even better we flew back on Saturday and had all day Sunday with the munchkins before heading back to work!

Before the wedding festivities kicked off, Tyler and I made a quick visit to Santa Monica pier and Venice Beach!  So beautiful and so crowded :)

We couldn't go to Santa Monica pier without riding the ferris wheel!

Couldn't wait to see the beautiful bride at the rehearsal dinner!

Love love love these Chi Omega ladies!  Always have so much fun catching up!  Sure do miss the days all of being in Norman!

On wedding day, some of the girls snuck away to Malibu for a morning on the beach.  A little walk, sunbathing, lunch and great conversation!
While the guys snuck away for a round of golf!
Then it was wedding time!  Beth and Ryan could not have looked more happy!  They had the most beautiful ceremony and the most beautiful location!  Plus the bride looked stunning!

Then it was party time!

So much fun and so many memories!

Happy Birthday America

One of my favorite weeks of the year is 4th of July week.  And it makes my heart so happy to watch J, H and M grow up to be proud little Americans.  We love everything about the 4th, from fireworks, BBQs, parades, pool parties, wearing festive clothes, a full week of friends and family, and most importantly showing our love for the U.S.A.

We kicked off the 4th festivities with our neighborhood parade and pool party!
These three looked so bad A!

Love my red, white and blue wearing crew!  Next up was our annual block party, which concludes with the most amazing firework show!  My favorite night of the year!!!

Love that our group keeps growing every year!  We are definitely blessed with amazing neighbors!

These neighbor ladies/friends definitely make life and raising kids so much more fun!

We kicked off the actual 4th of July with the Oak Tree pool party!

The kids always love all the games, especially the donut eating competition!

The soda dive is another one of their favorites!
These two definitely earned their first Dr. Peppers!

And we wrapped up the 4th of July with fireworks, face painting and snow cones at Oak Tree!  Love these sweet cousins!

Feeling so blessed after such a fun filled 4th of July week!
