Saturday Fun

Saturday afternoon was a fun filled day in OKC.  First stop the Devon building.  I couldn't resist taking a pic of the babies in the wanted sign at the bottom of our building.  I think their reward is worth way more than $1,000!

Jackson looks like a true cowboy with that serious face!
Then we strolled around the gardens outside of the DEC. The twins loved getting their piggies wet in the fountains.

And then a little dip in the fountains at Myriad Gardens.  Harper kept doing the splits and Jackson was doing a little rain dance.  It worked because a storm rolled through later that night.

Jackson and Harper are definitely water babies!  I foresee lots of fun weekends spent playing at Myriad Gardens in the years to come!

7 months

How are my babies already 7 months????  It absolutely blows my mind.  They now act more like little people than babies.  We are starting to have a little jealousy issues.  They always want each other's toys, pacis and of course mommy and daddy's undivided attention.  Sometimes it feels like I don't have enough hands or time but we are learning how to juggle it all.

Little Miss Harper you have become the most low key, chill baby.  You love to play independently but you also love to play with your brother.  You roll all over the place no matter what is in your path, whether it be your brother, toys or the dogs.  You are jabbering and smiling like crazy and seem to have so many words on the tip of your tongue.  We love you sweet baby girl!
Weight:  approx. 18 lbs 5 oz
Clothes:  mostly 6 months but we are transitioning to 6-9 months
Food:  You have 4 bottles a day (5 oz and 8 oz before bed) and 3 meals in between.  You groan between each bite of food, it’s almost like you are saying more please.
Likes:  your daddy’s red Devon hat, the puppies, your brother, outdoors, any toy in sight (you hoard the toys and always take what your brother is playing with), Sophie, peek-a-boo and the claw
Sleep:  You are still our sleeping champ!  The instant your two fingers go in your mouth we know you are tired.  You are usually asleep within a minute of going in your crib.  You typically sleep 10-11 hours a night and then take 2 two hour naps.

Little Man, you have taken the reins of being the needy child from your sister and embraced it fully!  You always want someone sitting right next to you playing.  Your sister would love to play with you but she just isn’t doing it for you yet.  I am trying to embrace your neediness because someday you won’t want us to be around.  You are still such a smiley and chatty little man.  Your legs are constantly bicycling and your arms are always moving.  We love you wild and crazy little man.
Weight:  approx. 18 lbs 5 oz
Clothes:  mostly 6 months but we are transitioning to 6-9 months
Food:  YOU LOVE FOOD.  The instant you see your bottle or the spoon you get so excited.  I have to hide your bottle until it’s time to eat or you will freak out if you see it.  You eat the same amounts as your sister
Likes:  outside, Sophie, any teething toys, the puppies, rattles, peek-a-boo, your feet, empty bottles, the claw
Sleep:  We had a little setback with sleep when you were sick but we are now back on track.  You sleep 10 hours a night with 2 two hour naps.

This face cracks me up!

"playing" together :)
Wanna smell my flower????
No, Take that thing off your head!
Where's Harper???? :)

Tyler's Dirty Thirty

Tyler celebrated his 30th birthday this past weekend!  After a Saturday filled with celebrating I think he was feeling the dirty 30 on Sunday actually I think he started feeling it late Saturday night :).  Tyler started his bday celebrations with a little poker tourney on Saturday and then we ended the day with a surprise bday party.  Tyler and Scott turn 30 within days of each other so Arrin and I thought a joint bday party would be fun!  The boys celebrated their 21st bdays together back in the day at Champions in Norman so why not do it again minus the 21 shots!  We had a great time celebrating with friends and family.  I wish I had taken more pictures but I guess I was too busy chatting.  We don't get out often these days :)

Love you!
Tyler and Scott celebrating their 21st bday
Birthday boys . . . 9 years later and still showing their Beta love!

Sick Little Man

This past week has been miserable in the Miller house.  The babies and I have all been sick with the stomach bug.  Absolutely no fun!  Tyler won "Dad of the Year" this week for taking care of me while I felt like I was on my death bed and also taking care of the sick twinnies.  Mimi came to the rescue to lend us some extra hands and unfortunately she also wound up with the stomach bug along with Tyler's aunt who also helped.  This is one mean virus!

Poor little man has been battling this stomach bug for the entire week.  He had a little hiatus from it on Thursday and then he woke up Friday morning with a 103.3 fever and diarrhea.  He is refusing all food except for Pedialyte.  Jackson LOVES to eat so when he is refusing his bottle and food you know his tummy must really be hurting.  Friday evening became even more eventful when Jackson's stools became bloody.  Our Dr. told us to bring him up the ER immediately.  So we packed him up and off we went.  Luckily Steph was able to come watch Harper.  They are running cultures on his stools to get to the bottom of this.

I have never been so ready for a new week to begin in hopes of a happy healthy house!

Poor little man, he just isn't his happy self!

Sleeping Angels

Jackson is and will always be our restless sleeper.  This child spins circles throughout the night.  If he's not turning circles his fingers or toes are always on the move.

Little Man usually starts in a position like this . . .

And after a few hours he will have maneuvered his way around to this . . .

And then by morning I wake up to this . . . :)

And then there is Miss Harper our champion of a sleeper.  She now sleeps through all of her brothers nightly commotion.

Once Harper discovered the beauty of sleeping on her stomach she never turned back.  I wish she would tip off her brother to her sleeping discovery!  I swear she doesn't move at all during the night.

Little Miss is always positioned a little like this . . . cute little tushy in the air!
