Happy 4th of July

2020 has been quite the year thus far with the Covid pandemic, quarantining, race riots, Saharan dessert sand storms, you name it and it has happened.  The 4th of July couldn't have come at a better time!  We all needed something to celebrate and a reason for some fun!  I say it every year but the 4th of July tops my list of favorite holidays!  We love our 4th traditions:  wearing red, white and blue, spending days with friends and family, cooking out, lots of swimming, endless fireworks, belting out every word to "I'm Proud to be an America" and showing our American pride!!!!  We are definitely blessed to live in the USA, even when it has been a CRAZY year!

Our annual block party has gotten bigger and better every year!  Favorite night of the year by far!!!  This year our fireworks were programmed and with a click of a button we had the best display!

Yardbirds Baseball

Don't let these Yardbirds in their green hobby lobby t-shirts fool you, they can play baseball with the best!  Jackson has loved playing tournaments with this team this summer season!  They sure are fun to watch.  They are pretty impressive considering they don't practice together!  They beat some top tournament teams to finish 2nd (out of 15) in the Norman tournament!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best dad around!  You work hard, rush home from work to coach sports, squeeze in mowing and house projects in the little time you have at home and are by the far the favorite parent in the house!  We all love you BIG!!!

 These three sure have changed since we started these "DAD" pictures as infants.  I have every intention of continuing this until they are out of the house!

On Father's Day we squeezed in some boat time with some of our neighbors!  Fun afternoon on the lake celebrating the dads!
