Chicago/Seattle weekend

What a weekend!!!!  This was a true test to see if these two 40 years could still have a long fun weekend and still hang for the entire weekend!  I can proudly say we did it but we definitely came home exhausted!

We kicked off our quick getaway with a night in Chicago for the Windy City Smokeout concert to see Zach Bryan!  Our friends had VIP tickets through work that got us in the pit!  Seriously the best concert!  The entire crowd sang every word to every song and it was truly amazing.  

 

Angela made the night extra special by bringing some 40th bday swag since I didn't get to celebrate on my bday!

We always have the best time with the Paynes!  Our time spent together is even more special now that they live in Dallas!

No matter where we are we are always thinking of the kids!

The next morning we were up early and caught a flight to Seattle for a Winslow family wedding!

We loved getting to snuggle the newest member of the family!  Love Ollie!

We don't get much cousin time since we live in Oklahoma but when we do its always so much fun!

The wedding was on Bainbridge Island outside of Seattle at a "camp" called Islandwood.  Our family had the entire "camp" reserved.  We all stayed in family lodges and access to hiking, campfires, etc.

Love this crazy big Winslow family of mine!!!  Can't wait for the next wedding to bring us all together again!

4th of July

I wasn't going to let my appendicitis surgery stop our family from enjoying my favorite holiday of the year!  I was released from the hospital the morning of Saturday, July 1st and we kicked off our 4th of July celebrations that evening!  The Millers are proud Americans and we love celebrating our love for the U.S.A.

The annual Bella Terra block party was the first of our celebrations and like always it was a blast!  Love our Bella Terra crew so much!

We celebrated on the 4th of July with a swim party and BBQ at the Flemings!  Another tradition we love so much!   We rarely have much free time to spend with our friends so we always soak up this time during the holidays!

We wrapped up our 4th of July celebrations with our little Braves family!  

Such a fun few days with family and friends!!!
