Thanksgiving week is always my favorite week of the year because we all have more time at home with very few evening or weekend commitments. It's a week we get to hang out with friends and family a little more than usual and do things we typically don't have time to do. This year was a little different with the introduction of deer hunting. The boys were gone most mornings and afternoons/early evenings. Next year I'm going to have to plan this week a little differently and plan more "girls" things so the boys aren't rushing back from hunting and exhausted! Or they need to get their deer early in the week so they can join all the non-hunting fun.
We kicked off the week with our Braves family volunteering at the OK Regional Food Bank. I so wish we had time to do this regularly. We may need to start making the time!
We had an adult night out at a new restaurant that I had been dying to try, JK by Chef King. I flew solo for most of dinner but Tyler made it after hunting just in time to pay the bill :) The ambience and vibe was so fun! Definitely want to go back and enjoy dinner with Tyler!
We changed up our Thanksgiving dinner this year and went to my sisters with Matt's family! Great food, fun company, endless laughs and lots of wine!
OU played at home on black Friday. It was the perfect opportunity for us to head to Norman and cheer on the Sooners for our first and only game of the year.
