Happy Thanksgiving

It was a happy Thanksgiving for the Miller Crew.  We have so much to be thankful for this year and every year!  A week off from school was just what we needed to slow down the pace and enjoy all the things we are so thankful for!

We started Thanksgiving morning delivering meals to families in need.  This is the second year we have done this and it is always a hit with the kids. They get to package the meals and then we deliver the meals to homes.  So fulfulling and a great reminder of how fortunate we are!

We changed it up this year and did a Thanksgiving dinner.  It was so nice to finish the day with all our family!  The only pictures I got from Thanksgiving dinner were the kids painting cookies.  Probably their favorite part!

On Black Friday we rang the Salvation Army bells at Sams Club.  We split our 4 hour shift with our neighbors.  The kids had a blast!  It was so amazing to see how generous the people of Edmond were with their donations.  It must have been the cute kids that suckered everyone into donating!  There were very few people that walked by without donating.  Our shift raised $574.82!!!  Such a fun tradition!

We were all sad to see Thanksgiving break come to an end!  Looking forward to two weeks at home with the kids over Christmas!

Halloween

Another fun Halloween in the books!  Dressing up, LOTS of candy and a fun night with family and friends.  The perfect Halloween!

Not only was it Halloween Eve, but we had our first snowflakes of the season as well!  Fun watching the kids catch snowflakes all dressed up!  Extra special day!  Jackson was Harry Potter, Harper was JoJo Siwa and Mason was a ninja!

 Love this Harry Potter!

On Halloween the girls dressed up in their softball emoji shirts for school!  Look at all the emotions in one class :)

Halloween in Bella Terra is the best!  Love looking at our group pictures from years past.  These kids have grown up so much and our group has gotten so much bigger.  Bottom line, these kids have the best time together and have so many amazing memories!  Halloween definitely tops the list!
Lots of wizardry going around!

And lots of sequins and big bows with our JoJos!
 Ready, set, go!

Dad patrol . . . moms are calling dibs on the golf carts next year!

Mason ran into a few of his school buddies that came to the neighborhood to trick or treat
 baseball friends unite for candy!

The BEST night and the smoothest Halloween yet!  The kids hit up more houses than in the past and exponentially more candy!  Success!

Fall Break

Fall break always comes at the perfect time, just when we are needing a long weekend at home with NO plans! After a busy fall sports season, 5 days to play was just what we needed!

The last school day before fall break was field trip day for kindergarten!  This was Mason's first field trip.  He had a blast running wild around the pumpkin patch with his kinder buddies!

While on fall break we went to dinner at the Chicken Shack, which is in Luther off the famous Route 66.  It was a hidden gem!  We ate outside while the kids had room to run around, throw the football, play in sand.  Such a fun dinner spot for families and large groups!  And a great place to capture some fun pictures!

Love this group of Bella Terra kiddos!
If you thought the chicken shack couldn't get any better they lit the fire-pits and sold Smores kits!
OU's homecoming fell during fall break!  It was an early kickoff, which meant the homecoming parade was even earlier!  Chilly weather and an early wake-up call wasn't going to stop these kids from getting candy at the parade!

These are faces of four happy kiddos!  Bags full of candy and donuts in hand!

OU's #1 fan wanted a picture with the kids!  Who wouldn't want a picture with these cute Sooners!

On the way home from Norman, we stopped at the new Scissortail park in downtown OKC.  Such a fun new park!

Fall break always ends with pumpkin carving.  We carved on our back (covered) patio and half way into carving a huge storm rolled in, hail and all.  Added a little excitement to our carving!

Sadie was sad to see fall break come to an end!  She loved having her three favorites at home. They sure spoiled her rotten!
