Family Vacay - Seaside

We just returned from a fabulous family vacation in Seaside Florida!  This was our first true family vacation with the kids and it was perfect.  I loved spending every minute with my favorites for 10 straight days!  Both sides of our family joined the fun which made the trip even more special!  We are all sad to be back to reality and I'm super sad to be heading back to work tomorrow morning.  Such a fun and relaxing week.  We played at the beach, swam in the pool, ate great food and enjoyed our company.  I want to go back now!

We split our long road trip into a few days.  The first day we drove to nana and grandpa's house in Plano then the next morning we headed to New Orleans.  Tyler was pumped when he saw New Orleans was on the way.  There was no way he was passing up the opportunity for a little casino time!
These three were so excited to be out of the car!
And they were even more excited when we told them they could jump on the bed at hotels only :)
after quickly freshening up we jumped on the trolley
the kids thought their trolley ride was so cool!
first stop Bourbon Street . . .

Our kids might have been the only kids on Bourbon Street that weren't performing!  But they drew quite the crowd drinking water from these!

Then the next morning we headed to Seaside.  Once we arrived the kids couldn't wait to put their feet in the sand and ocean!  The anticipation was killing them!
such a great memory seeing them experience the beach for the first time
they were jumping with excitement and smiling from ear to ear!

these three were too excited to pose for a family picture . . .

Putting their toes in the water turned into full on swimming!  There was no way I would deny their excitement!  They squealed, laughed, smiled and ran in and out of the water for an hour.

LOVE this view!

Every evening we headed to the beach after dinner to see the sun set.  Earlier in the day it rained so the sunset this evening was AMAZING!!!

These pictures are completely unedited!  No sunset will ever compare with God's work this particular evening.  Truly magical!  I have looked at this family picture nonstop since it was taken.  Constant reminder of how blessed I am.

We all tested out paddle boarding which was so fun.

Stan and Jeanne celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary while we were there.  Such great examples for Tyler and I.
The last evening we were so lucky to capture these family pictures!

Such a perfect week full of so many memories!
