Ohio State

Tyler and I enjoy going to an away OU football game or Thunder game every fall.  It has become our fall tradition and something we look forward to the entire year.  This year we chose the OU vs Ohio State game in Columbus and it did not disappoint!  We flew into Pittsburgh and enjoyed a full day exploring the city!  We walked almost 10 miles, hit up a few breweries, went to a Pirates/Cubs baseball game and even met up some of our OKC friends that were in town as well.  Pittsburgh is beautiful city surrounded by rivers and bridges!

Selfie overload!

We took the incline to the top of Mt. Washington for a stunning view of the city!

We worked up quite the appetite walking the city and had to try their famous Primanti Brothers sandwiches . . . meat, cheese, coleslaw and French fries on a bun!  Different but so good!
After lunch it was time for a cold beverage.  We had to try Church Brew Works which is located in an old church.  The brewing is done on the alter and you enjoy beverages sitting in church pews!
Later in the evening we hit up the Pirates/Cubs baseball.  The view of the city was amazing!!!

The next morning we were off to Columbus for the big OU/Ohio State game!
We ate, drank and cheered our way through Columbus with some of our favorite friends!  Such a cool town with great restaurants and fun bars/patios!  Nothing like exploring a new city with your crimson and cream on!

Game day!!!  Pre party at the Varsity Club was so fun and got us all fired up for the game!  We are so lucky to have such great friends that are just as passionate about their OU sports!

We went into our trip hoping for a competitive and close game and we left with total domination and a big SOONER WIN!  Definitely a once in a lifetime experience!  We left with a W and lots of great memories!  Boomer Sooner!
