Spring Break - Broken Bow

Second annual spring break trip to Broken Bow was a huge success.  We have the best time with a group of neighbors, sneaking away from reality for a few days during spring break.  We basically spend three days outside ALL day.  The kids play and play and play, no electronics and no fighting.  Such a fun getaway with SO many memories.  These kids are living the dream and us parents are as well!

First night calls for Grateful Head pizza!
St. Patty's Day fell the first full day of our trip.  The Miller kids introduced everyone to our tradition of trying to catch a leprechaun.  All the kids helped set the trap the night before and they woke up to find a trap full of goodies!  The leprechaun ran so quickly he left all his gold and candy behind :)

We went horse backing riding the first morning of our vacay!  Such a fun group outing!

Kids got to feed the horses before we headed out on the trail

 Such beautiful views
Mason was the St. Pattys day loving child that wore his green and shamrock necklaces the entire trip!

Evenings by the campfire were the best!  Smores, story telling and lots of laughter!

 Love my boys!
Next morning started with a great hike and fabulous views!

Then picnic lunch by the river!  Love this group!  21 in total, all staying the same house!

Then we tried some fishing.  Different spot but still no luck catching fish!

Last afternoon the moms snuck away for a little wine tasting and a lot of great convo.  I sure do love these ladies!
Such a fun get away!  I hope we continue this annual tradition for years to come.  Definitely a trip my kids talk about year round!
