Dear Twins

Dear sweet Jackson and Harper,

We are getting closer and closer to your arrival date, 8 weeks max and counting.  The anticipation of meeting you two is making the time fly by.  Dad and I are so excited to see your beautiful faces and get to know your personalities.  We already know that we have been blessed with two angels!

You two have been growing like crazy the past couple of weeks and have been extremely active.  It’s hard to believe that you will double in size over the next 6-8 weeks.  It’s going to get snug but hang in there.  Dad and I love to wind down our evenings feeling your little kicks and movements.  Between the two of you, someone is always moving and shaking!  It definitely feels like we have two athletes on our hands.

Everything is coming together in your nursery.  I think you will LOVE it!  Sorry, Jackson there are quite a few owls.  You will learn to love them just like your dad J

We have a full schedule ahead with the upcoming holidays.  Be prepared for lots of delicious food, company, holiday parties, shopping and of course Christmas movies and music.  I have no doubt that the two of you will be spoiled rotten this Christmas!   

Although we are so ready for your arrival, please stay nice and cozy for the next 6-8 weeks!

Chio Sisters Reunited

Tyler and I made a quick trip to Dallas this past weekend for Hannah and Ben's wedding. Of course, I also squeezed in a little shopping during my less than 24 hour stay.  H&M just opened in Plano and it will definitely be on my list to hit up anytime we make a trip home!  Definitely a successful weekend.
The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and so much fun!  I always look foward to weddings to reunite the Chi Omega dirty dozen!  It was great to see all the ladies!  Who is next????

Love you hubby!  Thanks for being a good sport about missing the OU game.  Luckily you were with good company and had plenty of Texas beer to take away the pain of losing.

29 Weeks and DVN Shower

I can't believe we are already at 29 weeks!  It's amazing how quickly time is flying by.  Our little ones will be here before we know it.  We were able to check in on Jackson and Harper today during our ultrasound.  Everything still looks great!  Here are their 29 week stats:

Harper:  2 lbs 14 oz and her heartbeat was 123
Jackson:  3 lbs 2 oz and his heartbeat was 142

It's hard to believe that I am carrying 6 lbs of baby already!  No wonder why my baby bump is getting so big.  Take a look for yourselves . . .

Today was a big day, not only did we have an ultrasound but we also had an amazing shower at work!  Tyler and I have the best co-workers!  Thank you again for the constant support and also for spoiling the twins today.  I can't wait for the twins to meet all of our Devon friends.  We will definitely be making a few trips up to work during maternity leave!

We are on the home stretch and thanks to our amazing friends and family it looks like we are well prepared for the twins arrival!

The twins were showered with LOVE!

Jackson and Harper had their first baby shower on Sunday afternoon and they definitely feel the love!  I am so glad that we were able to celebrate the twins with our closest friends and family.  Tyler and I are truly blessed to have each one of you in our lives.  Thank you again for coming and showering the twins with love and amazing gifts!

Tyler and I feel more prepared for the twins arrival after the shower.  If Jackson and Harper were to make an early appearance I think we are now ready. 

Thanks to the amazing hostesses, Stephanie, Sarah, Ashley and Arrin.  You ladies are truly the BEST!!!

So glad the Hageman's were in town from Cali for the weekend!  They were able to squeeze a lot into a short weekend including the baby shower.
