Pre babies Tyler and I loved taking weekend trips following our favorite sports teams. So this past weekend we had the opportunity to head to Memphis to cheer on our Thunder while J&H had a vacation of their own with their Mimi and Papa in Guymon. Perfect opportunity . . . 1) we had never been to Memphis, 2) Thunder game was at 4:00 on a Saturday, 3) Mimi and Papa and the town of Guymon were excited to watch the babies :)
The Thunder might have lost the game but Tyler and I still had a great time exploring and experiencing Memphis, more particularly Beale Street!
Jackson and Harper are obsessed with ducks so when I heard about the march of the Peabody ducks there was no way I was missing it! These ducks are trained to "march" from their penthouse, down the elevator and down a red carpet into the hotel fountain everyday at 11:00 am and then at 5:00 pm they "march" back to their penthouse. Their "march" was so quick I couldn't snap a pic but I did catch a pic of them bathing in the fountain.

The Thunder organization pulled through with two tickets for us in the Thunder section. Refreshing to sit with other Thunder fans and the players families in an away city. Kept us out of trouble!
Great weekend away with the hubs doing one of our favorite things, Thundering Up! And even better weekend getting home to my sweet babies on Mother's Day.
